  1. Just a piece of advice for next time. The glow plug doesn't need to be really tight, only tight enough so that when you feel tough resistance you stop.
  2. I want to get a new model and I was thinking of the HPI Savage XL or the Savage X 4.6. Though, are there any other brands which I should consider? I'm looking for monster trucks only. Thanks
  3. The damage isn't always immediately apparent.
  4. Ah, nice. I'll use that link before I order . Thanks
  5. Maybe, but BenRacing are cheaper on that model.
  6. Ah, I guess I'll go for Modelsport then. I was only considering BenRacing because of the price.
  7. It may work, but if the water got into your carb and then into the engine, there could be grit or dirt scratching the piston.
  8. Has anyone ordered from BenRacing before? Also, I'm thinking of buying this http://www.benracing.co.uk/acatalog/HPI_Sa...TR_Reverse.html Can anyone comment on it?
  9. If the diffs are pretty sealed (like mine) then I don't really see much need in cleaning them if it's a new model. If it's an oldish model then take it apart, clean everything inside and use grease to relubricate.
  10. *drools*, I'd love to have the patience for that. Looks really nice, especially with that transmission setup!
  11. I use an air duster on it and apply WD40 to the mechanical parts. Though you could remove the mechanical parts (if you're not lazy, which I am), wash them in soapy water and then use some grease or oil to lube them up.
  12. Just to say: A brushless motor is a motor that is electronically controlled not mechanically. Instead of using connection wires to change polarities inside the motor, a circuit board does it instead, this allows for the motor to spin at much higher speeds and save power.
  13. Oh and btw, some days you will need to change both your fuel screws and idle screws depending on the wind, heat, etc, etc... But ONLY minor changes.
  14. No, I'm not confused. I meant I don't have air filter oil so i'll just have to make sure to use ARO afterwards until I get some AFO.
  15. Ugh, that fake burberry cover makes me sick
  16. It might be idling too low, turn the idle screw ever so slightly clockwise.
  17. Ah, I'll probably get the air filter oil eventually. But I've been using the after-run stuff every so often so I should be ok for now. Thanks
  18. Hi, I have the standard Air Filter provided with my model and I have heard that it's advisable to use air filter oil to help protect the engine. I do not have any air filter oil right now but would 16% nitro fuel poured over and the excess squeezed out be ok for now? Also, I'm looking for a good air filter (possibly 3 stage) that'd fit on my Team Infinity .18 engine.
