  1. Few bits to finish but here's the truggy Si
  2. Core do a mini receiver if it us compatible with your transmitter,it all depends on the core model you have. Si
  3. The kit comes with 3 sizes, 17,18 and 19t, i use the 19t that's for long straights, i find it great for what i need but you could start off with 18t see how it goes from there. Lol capri-boy, i know these motors are getting harder to find now. I have a spare just incase, the tenshock are good too though i might be tempted to try the higher kv version. Si
  4. This is actually a nice servo to use if you don't want to spend on a savox although i use a savox1275mg that is brilliant this in the link is very similar. https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=58282 Si
  5. This one http://www.smartteknik.se/uk/brushless-motors/motor-lba2838-5200kv-4-pole.html Great motor that i use Si
  6. Hi, i personally wouldn't go for anything smaller than the 28mm stock can in the emb the carisma is 24mm and 2 pole, stock emb motors are 4 pole and good, put an 18t or 19t pinion on, the stock esc is 35a but i would go 60a, the tenshock motors are really good and the leopards that i use are brilliant if you can find them. Savox servos are also brilliant but as mentioned won't be a direct fit, cut the tabs off and stick down with strong double sided tape. Si.
  7. I believe so or just add this to the order http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=44500 I use the programme card. Si
  8. This esc will be good http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=29351
  9. There's other colours but this is the correct length you need. Edited link as it didn't work http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/CML-RPM-ROD-ENDS-ASSOC-YELLOW-RPM73377-/381457992492?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE Si
  10. Just measured mine and they are 56mm, hope that helps although thats end to end and i have rpm ball ends that are slightly thicker material than the stock ones. Si
  11. If i get a chance i will check tomorrow, can't promise though as it's a busy day, will definitely try though. Si
  12. I have long chassis now just have to find time to build the long wheelbase buggy now. Motor is a 4 pole 2845 that was a cheapy so will have to see how we go with that one or i have a spare leopard 2838 for it. Si
  13. I originally started with an rtr really because i paid alot less for it at the time than it was and changed it to kit spec +, i then bought a kit version and really i would go kit every time especially as it will now not be cost effective at all converting rtr having to change composite parts which are weak especially the shock bodies plus motor and esc, kit all the way. Si
  14. Possibly won't be in the UK as there's no truggy's sold in UK. Wait a few weeks and it will be in the German shops and aisatees and the like most probably Si
  15. Uses the same mount so should just fit straight on but it's not hard if it needs some marking and drilling, they have a new white version truggy wing that was posted on the Facebook page. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1165239193517028&id=494780320562922 Si
  16. New Facebook group for UK emb owners, joined today. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1053410821381691/ Si
  17. Still waiting on the long chassis to be delivered, i was in workshop yesterday getting everything ready to put on the chassis, built the front and rear ends up and 1 bearing has vanished for the hub lol ordered a few now but weird how it has disappeared everything else is there and i know i had a full set. Si
  18. I had seen that about the diff case, looking at someones comments there might be a long chassis buggy body made at some point too thart wouldbe good, it's becoming a popular choice it seems to run the long chassis in par5s of Europe. Si
  19. Are they all gtb's running there, looks great. Si
  20. This is taken off of emb Facebook page, running no top deck on long chassis. The drag links can cause slop and can be shimmed, unfortunately sos have gone now that made the shorter ball raced one that was also a good addition. Si
  21. I try to only use 6mm offset now, i don't see any sign of chattering but could be different on really grippy surfaces, some wheels need to be pretty tightened down or a little shim to keep them from having play between the hex's. Si
  22. Not sure if its down to chassis flex to be honest, even if you run the lightened thumbs chassis its very stiff compared to the gtb chassis, it will be interesting to see if the carbon chassis will make a difference in the emb's handling, i don't race but use 6mm offset wheels that slightly widens the foot print and seems to stabilise it a little more but unsure if it would help with roll. Si
  23. I would be tempted to up pinion, the 5200kv i run is on 19t, great top end if you need it for long straights and it hasn't really lost the any bottom end, the 4 pole should definitely handle it, i have ordered a similar motor to use in the longer chassis, looks actually identical to yours, i linked to it on banggood up a few post's, i will most likely try go 20t pinion on it when i get it built up that is. The gtb's are good i have one too but favour the emb, the mini 8 sits there next to it lol, gtb is so much lighter even with an alloy chassis i have put on and geared diffs over ball not that that adds alot. Si
  24. How did it go with the motor, did you need to change to a bigger pinion at all? Si
