  4. Is anyone interested im open to offers but i cant post the 1/5 to be honest as i dont have a big enougth box.. Thnks SpZero
  5. Before Ebay is used thought id put these for sale here ready for colection from halifax (west yorks) or could post the losi. 1st hobbypro see my signiture for pictures (only upgrade is the hobbypro purple alloy airfilter and i will provide 2nd receiver 5 cell battery) complete with all electrics and manual only had it a few months and only had 6 tanks of fuel, only small problems are the left rear hub carrier is cracked and the left rear top swing arm has threaded (this has being glued in place and has held on last few outings) but it still runs fine. will provide a bit of petrol in canister and bottles of two stroke oil to anyone who wants to purchase this.. (the shell is cracked at front but will be nice and cheep so you can always buy a new one...) 2nd Losi mini monster Baja only used a few times complete boxed only problem i have had is the two servos have died i was gunna buy some new ones today but no stock. they are about 14 quid each see here or you could change to a single full size servo (if you plan to do this you need a kit or maybe you could bodge it? i can provide a spare servo with it if you want..) all electrics etc are included Hobby pro superchief
  6. Agreed about the nasty yellow but with the right paint job this would be an awesome model... how can i tell the wife i need another radio controled car???
  7. i would come down but both the cars are slightly knackered need to sell some stuff on ebay to pay for some parts lol
  8. Thanks what are the towerpro's like will they take a bashing or is single servo' the way its not too cheep maybe a hacksaw would do the same???
  9. Well not sure what the problem is the servo is kicking in imediatly and turning full lock left and wont budge even when turning right. So My question is can i repair a servo re set it etc? or if i have to replace one as the car has two micro servos would it be better sticking one standard sero in place in stead as ive never had a servo break before and this one has broken on its 5th outing ( im not sure if there both broken or just one? anyhelp appreciated thanks.........
  10. Car boots are good i saw a guy who had two the other week wanted 50 quid each for them and had a load of spare parts including a spare engine.
  11. Were were @ Filey Beech up near scarborough
  12. Well got this yesterday and taken for a quick run on the beech was a blast and not as noisey as the petrol car so my wife didnt feel the need for the ground to swallow her, lol. well it was a blast and my dog loved chasing it too. heres some pics, Njoy The dog bemused by the new smaller car!!! On the rocks!! Sand & Water..
  13. nice gift it has a retro appeal and its a classic, nice one
  14. So whats the deal are fibre glass shells any good???
  15. Yeah thats a sweet vehicle but would get the electric version if was to get one!
  16. I see that things only 23cc the car i have at model sport is less money hobbypro h10 and 26cc rtr its also got more alloy on it like the roll cage is 50% alloy as opposed to the one your after which looks all plastic apart from that there pretty much the same different shell different wheels (but the hoobypro one look better imho) and the exhaust is mounted differently on the one your looking at but just get the hobbypro one and an exhaust deflector else it will melt the body shell
  17. Thanks will have to change a few things but is this guaranteed to then actually pull whellies has anyone else done it with one of the marder clone monster trucks ???
  18. Sweet looking baja lovely paint job too well done.
  19. see the other thread i just updated it. >>>>>click me<<<<<<
  20. Well being out quite a bit went to: a plot of land opposite side of the road to hyde park in leeds nice and quite and large area also a bit of land in Halifax very quiet and nice rougth terrain for some action and finally went to the famous park in yeadon, leeds, have some videos ill put up and place links to when i get round to it but here are some pics! After some damage to the shell and lots of mud! The cars taken lots of abuse of me and two friends for a good few hours each time the shell was damaged in a big flip. but otherwise all is well what great fun! BTW if you get one of these i advise getting an exhaust deflector so the fumes dont melt the body shell like on mine buy one before you run it or it will warp i kinda wish the shop i bought from had advised me of this after all they are only a couple of quid!!!
  21. So can i do wheelies with my truck? as now it wont do it i got the front end an inch off the ground once but i cant get any wheelie i know other marder vehicles will whellie and i know i have big wheels etc, will changing the gearing make a difference? more power will that change the abillity? thanks guys!!
  22. Hi MKB welcome to the forum im quite new to petrol my self only about 6 weeks and have one of the FG marder clone type cars you have they are a blast, ive bucked one of my wheels or maybe its the axel i dont know but would be interested in different and stronger wheels too but maybe they would be a bit too heavy on these scale cars? ive not seen many around
  23. I perfer nito and petrol over electric, as unless you have a lot of battery packs you can only go out for a hour or so, with petrol you can just keep adding more petrol and the rx/tx batterys lasts for ages i have 2 sets of batterys when i go out and i normally get bored of driving or break something before runnung out of fuel / battery power ..with electric i used to go out and be back after half an hour and then sitting around the living room for hours waiting for batterys to charge, All said tho each have there place for starters electric being cheeper and all they are great and also want to get a lil eletric micro truck for the home if the wife will come round to that idea!! lol
  24. body shell Are the fibre glass shells any good are they strong any other good and well priced shells you can advise ? thanks would prefer unpainted..
