  1. Hello. I'm looking at buying my first RC helicopter or drone and was looking for recommendations? Price wise
  2. Hi, Im looking at replacing the brushed motor in my tamiya rc subaru car with a brushless motor. Will I see big improvements and is it quite simple to swap over? No soldering etc? Can I just swap the motor itself over or do I need to swap the controller too? Thanks Matt EDIT: Looking at prices it may be cheaper just to buy a new car with a brushless motor second hand as ide need to buy the tools too
  3. Ahh ok, May have my hands on a " conquistador nitro RC monster" You wouldn't know if they have a fail safe built in?

I mean with the nitro ones. Even though they're nitro you have to put some batteries into the car itself apparently? They are supposed to be changed every 90 minutes according to a youtube video or else the car will just carry on at full speed? My electric car just stops when the battery is low/flat. The subaru is at the mrs house so ile have to get pics at the weekend. Pretty sure its a tamiya one. Not a brushless motor.

Well if I buy an electric buggy ile go second hand and hope I get more for my money, lol. Going to keep the electric car ive got and maybe buy a new shell and drift wheels.
  6. Hello. As some of you may have read im looking at upgrading from my electric rc car that ive had for around 10 years. (not used for a fair few) Ive always wanted a nitro one and it would be nice not to depend on batteries and charging. The only problem I have with the nitro ones is when the batteries in the car die apparently the car just goes off at full speed until it hits something. This would be bad as ide be using it on a big park. Is there anything you can do to stop it doing this like a cut off feature? Thanks

  10. Hellooo. I have a similar subaru to this : http://www.tamiyausa.com/images/product/30...16/header_1.jpg I was thinking of getting a nitro car as the battery charging is anoying and Nitro's are faster. But on the other hand maybe saving money and I buy 2 batterys and a new motor to sort my problems. How long do the decent batterys last after charged with a price upto
