I've never had a problem with Simons FG spares either, but that mould has seen better days. To get a decent shell out of it, it would need to be smooth and shiney. A shell out of that mould will look like its had a hard life straight away. It could be fixed, but its a lot of filling and rubbing down with 1200 grit wet and dry.....and gelcoat is very tough to rub down
