I wouldn't buy one either, but when they are given away! SMC called and they can't get the Lipo version, nor can MS. Looks like its an import to get the L or just go for R and stick with my Overlander and Nano-Tech batteries. Anyone remember the import fee that is added to the 20% VAT?

No price difference and I get a battery I can use with the Lipo 2S included in the L, I will never use the NIMH and still have an unused one from the 6808 I bought! Makes sense to have a

Lol I'm running my hard case 3S 6500mah from Overlander still that I got when I first got my slash. I can't believe my original gearing and esc, motor etc still going strong!! Fans on motor and esc from start may have helped! -

Yeah, I imported my nemesis 7.7 before selling it on last year. You'll probably pay the 20% vat (hopefully not! ) and maybe a fee, should still be less than UK price. I went to Sussex Model Centre today and they are checking stock with Logic RC on Monday and will let me know. I asked for the Slash Ultimate (6807L).

It isn't in stock on MSUK but it says also that it won't be coming back in to stock. They replacing it perhaps (Traxxas)? I want to get one so I have an ultimate and the slash 4x4 I muck about with the different upgrades myself.

Shed built and painted. Slash new body still not painted! Atleast Mrs happy with new kitchen and util!

It is used by a 4x4 events company, I mistakenly asked him before one of the others on here and he said no - they use it all the time and we wouldn't be able. RC Freaks on here got the OK from the owner of the land that rents out the 4x4 area I think. I was to go down and see the other guys but on the couple of times I've tried no one was there.

I did go down there, but wasn't able to stay. Think RC still uses it but I am still using other local areas! Would be great to get more of us together...

I live right near Slindon pits but its private land. I am using other local areas, including Slindon woods, Littlehampton seafront (West Beach), and others.

proline shell - markings on wheel area?

The markings line up to the holes on the top of the body for the mounts. You will notice that the Slash marking is where you need to make the holes when putting the body on to a Slash. Its so the same shell can be used for each of the different models, just be using different hole placements. I cut out my wheel arches ready to paint and kept it ready to line up and make the holes for the mounts. (Still on my to-do list!!) -
My shell is a lot worse now! Got a new one cut but not sprayed it yet. The Trooper needs quite a few spares (which can take a while to arrive from HK) and the quality isn't like a Slash. He has had the Trooper now for one year this month and its still going strong, although with repairs done in the most obvious places, mainly from big jumps and trees getting in the way!

Slash 4x4 - replacement ESC (possibly motor)?

Go stock mate, it's on the limit. My esc safe mode cuts in every now and then - maybe once every pack, I just turn off then back on.
Plus my son burn't out his ESC and receiver on his Trooper SCT so I need another for him or his brother to use to race me!
