IF ya can get them where your buying one from then I'd go for either the Raminator or the Desert truck, They got slightly larger chassis, All the guy's on the Micro T forum I use are raving about them. You can also pick up spare bodyshells either stock or unpainted from fleabay

I've had a Micro T for about 3 weeks now,, they are Brilliant, a proper no comprimise 1/36th scale rc car. Mines completely stock apart from one or 2 simple improvements, zip ties on top of shock's, 2 velcro strips either side of the body/chassis so I dont have to use those stupid body clips. There's TONS of hop ups including Li Po & Brushless motors, carbon fibre Bloomin everything, spektrum reciever modules too. Its a crazy Little car that I love to bits (just finished cleaning the tranny). They jump off every little bump and lump. Awsome Enjoy it!

I had an issue with an item i bought from ebay ,, I sent it back via Parcel Farce and used their on line tracking, The guy I was returning the parcel to denied recieving it when the online tracking was showning his signature on the collection image. He tried to deny it for a day until he finally realised He couldnt get away with what he was trying to do as Parcel force immediately reported the item as stolen and sent the poolice around to his house. What a numpty! I ended up buying my brakes directly from Black Diamond though because the owner felt for me and the ****²e I had gone through with one of his distributors and fair play they are the best Disks and pads Ive ever used, stops on a penny piece now! my first car was a motorbike @17 I passed the then easy 2 part bike test and diddnt bother sitting my car test until I'd turned 30. my first car was a ford escourt 4 door that was the right money and got me from a to b (with a few other letters of the alphabet in there too) since then ive kinda fallen for cars and had a few different marques but always come back to Honda and Vw which I what im driving now, b16 civic and a Vw touran, both great cars and both suit my lifestyle needs (somehing to thrash the life outta and something for family useage)

AS a relative noob Ive found a lot of the points made by other posters True, Its expensive, Its unpopular partially due to expense partially due to the 'Anorak' image given by a lot of the general public and partially due to pervious bad expirences with SO called rc cars. A trip into most Lhs reveals a dazzling array of cars and Tx equipment, its bewlindering and frankly scary The shop I used to buy my Tl01 was adamant that I wanted nitro (I wanted an electric) tried to sell me a spekky (I dont need a spekky). He basically tried to make as much profit off me as he could, luckily as a old skool rc user I knoew what I needed for my fun and purchased appropriately. If the hobby were to grow say like car modifying has over the last 10 years or so then we would be subject to more price increases from manufacturers who want to make a larger profit from its audience( something we expirence on high end models already) Maybe Rc clubs could have 'Open' evenings and invite members of the public for a trial session and a nose around some free education about how much fun this hobbysport is and maybe a few more will join our ranks. 1.5p worth;)

Without a tent your gonk bag would get soaked by the evening dew be cold and wet all night long , then come morning dew you'd get soaked and cold again. Its a really easy way to be put off something thats great fun!

We've got some of the 2 season vangos for family camping,, Great value fairly abuse proof and nice n warm. Go for a 2 season bag and a thermorest. 3/4 season bags are really overkill in the Uk unless your winter camping or sleeping somewhere very exposed (in which case being inside a bivi bag sorts that) Are ya camping of sleeping outdoor? Without a tent like a few other posters have said your gonna ruin your bag unless you Bivi it.

Im having a few probs with my 't'. I put the thing on charge the light comes on for about 2 mins then goes off, the car is sluggish and only runs for a few mins, then its back on the charger. There are brand new batteries in the losi charger, the car hasnt been left switched on overnight or abused in anyway (since I've owned it). I guess if its fubared then its time to upgrade the Battery in it,, Li On or Li Po? The Losi one does autocutoff when charging and discharging? Daynm was hoping to do bearings and motor first Can someone explain how to adjust the slipper in these things too??
