  1. bump again might split if enough interest!
  2. forgot to say, collection only, or possible delivery at buyers cost (fuel won't be included)
  3. Hi all, It's finally come to this, selling my savage. It started out life as an SS, but the Truckzilla kit was bought at the same time, so it started out life as a Truckzilla really! It's got everything that comes with the Truckzilla (big engine, big wheels, longer chassis etc etc). The engine has seen just over half a gallon on fuel (25%), so has got loads of life in it. The truck is in VERY good condition, the only thing it needs for it to run is the servo saver for the brake because i snapped the old one whilst putting it away after its last run (about a month ago). There are a few scratches here and there (mainly the head, but it's because i tried using a wire brush to take the paint off). It's got the standard 2-speed gearbox, Rotostart backplate, dual disc brakes, uprated air filter, metal spur gear, 3 sets of wheels and tyres, shell is in good condition, and other parts i can't remember, along with a few spares. It really does come ready to run (apart from the sero saver)!!!! I'll even throw in nearly a gallon of 25% fuel I'm open to offers over

  5. bump royal flash is now brushless (novak system, can't remember which one off the top of my head) cost me
  6. the guy that had it before me had it from new, he ran it in and used it twice (i think), and then i bought it a year ago, and used it twice. but if you think it's expensive, then thats upto you, i sold my kyosho ultima rb a few months ago (which i bought new in 2000) for
  7. bump price drop on most things still open to offers
  8. Bump! I really need this lot sold asap, so make me an offer, please!
  9. yup, checked them with my callipers, i thought they were a bit strange too
  10. not sure, the hex's are 19mm
  11. Well, i've decided to sell up cos i really need money for my car first up is my Ansmann royal flash, complete with a traxxas xl5 esc and a 19t competition motor (both secondhand), but i think it's fubared cos it's nowhere near as fast as my other 2 19t motors are, only been used 4 times for 30 mins each time,
  12. i'm picking my new (to me) car up at the beginning of next week hopefully, when it passes it's MOT.
  13. how much for the prolines and hex adaptors?
  14. it depends on the power for me, if i can get all four wheels spinning and do some decent drifting, then 4wd, but if not, it's got to be 2wd. saying that, my royal flash which should be 4wd is currently 2wd, bu ti think i'll be putting the drive shaft back in now i've gone brushless

    SPEED

well, i must admit i am a speed demon myself, and i don't race either (well, only beat friends). went brushless at the weekend although i haven't had chance to test it properly yet, but hopefully tomorrow when i get the right pinion, i'll be drifting on all fours! and my savage is a truckzilla, which is pretty quick, sorry, that should be WAS quick, had a small accident at the weekend, lets just say i was lucky the engine was still in the truck, there's quite a few bent bits nothing a hammer wont fix (i hope!)
  16. i've just ordered a 14T 48DP pinion so we'll have to see if it fits, if it doesn't, oh well, i'll have to get another one
  17. Cheers Garry, just one last question for now, what DP do i go for?
  18. well, i tried to give it a run yesterday, and within 5 seconds i'd stripped the spur gear (my own fault, hadn't meshed the spur and pinion up properly). luckily i've got a spare, the only difference is its a 62T and the one thats in there atm is a 64T. now in the destructions for the brushless kit, it was to use a pinion gear with 4T less than what it was in the manual (standard is 21T) so with the 64T spur i was going to use a 17T pinion (well, an 18 cos i haven't got a 17), but with the new spur gear will i have to use a 15T pinion, or do i go the opposite way (19T)?? since i had the problem of stripping the spur gear, i haven't been able to test it to see if i've fixed the little niggle, but i should be able to do it with just the motor (no pinion on it). TIA
  19. sorry, should have made it a bit clearer in my first post, when it rolls to a stop, i've still got forward throttle on, but it rolls to a stop and it won't move forward for about 10 seconds, and i've still got forward thottle on. although it will reverse fine
  20. Well, this morning i burnt the motor out in my Ansmann Royal Flash, so went to the model shop intending to come home with a new (quicker) motor, but ended up coming home with one of these http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=31115 Now, it is very good, i've got to change the pinion in the morning to an 18 tooth one, BUT i'm having a bit of trouble and i don't know whether it's the receiver or esc or motor. When i go forward (full throttle) its fine, but if i come back past half way, it stops, it doesn't brake, it just rolls to a halt and stays like that for about 10 seconds, but it is fine in reverse. Its like there is a dodgy connection somewhere along the line, but i have checked every connection atleast twice, and when it stops going forward, the lights on the esc still operate like normal. I know this is quite a vague description, but it is hard to describe. I'll be grateful of any help, i'm meant to be racing it tomorrow and could do with sorting it out Cheers tb
  21. my royal flash arrived yesterday and just got 2 failsafes
