After finally getting the Hyper 7 tuned and running perfectly I am having to sell due to getting engaged, moving house and generally not having time. If you want pics and video email me here : [email protected]. Otherwise this is what is included: Hyper 7-Its had just over 2 litres of fuel through it and never been crashed. Been tuned by local model shop and runs well. Tuned for 20% fuel-only had Tornado through it. Roto Starter with 2 cells and car/mains charger for cells. Hump pack battery+charger Set of road wheels and tyres Set of spike wheels and tyres Set of stock wheels and tyres White shock springs High Torque steering servo High Tensile screws [only a few been fitted] Accoms stick controller+original stock wheel controller Glow starter and charger All other stock parts incl shell. +loads of bits and bobs...wheel nuts, screws, cables etc etc. Needs a clean as last run was over dirt. I can ship anywhere in UK at cost. Dont mind pick ups but I work away a lot and finding time to meet will be hard. Im looking for someone to take the lot and be done with it. It cost me all together around

I come from a skateboard background. I was sponsored for a good few years and then I went on to be a team manager for a UK distributor. The only people I would look twice at were people in the magazines off their own back [motivated], good at what they do, friendly and professional and someone who was marketable. It takes a lot of things to get hooked up by a brand and you cant expect free stuff for doing nothing. As someone mentioned-if you are good enough and out there then Im sure someone will see that.

So I got some new tyres and dish wheels today and Im wondering the best way to put on? Use super glue Im assuming...any special techniques? cheers

I know ideally it would be nice to learn from scratch-I did try but Im rubbish at this stuff. I have had the thing since early December and still not had a good run with it yet, that is why I wanted it looked at so I knew it was tuned and tweaked properly.

I was thinking the same. Due to work and the problem of my car will never run consistently I thought I might look into getting it 'sorted and serviced'..I dont mind paying for the privilage either. If it means when I find time to go out it works and I have a laugh then money well spent! Any places do this? I dont mind posting it out to be honest either.

is going from 16% to 25% advisable? I might go to 20% then see how that works out. Looks nice, I still have yet to get mine covered in mud, seems like I have had problem after problem with it.

I think the fuel Im using is rubbish also. Model mechanics I think-its sooooo oily-I reckon I might get some Tornado as thats what I used to use and it never caused trouble.

ok, I think next time I take it out [not for a week or so due to work] I will see what its upto. I have a sneaky idea that the strange throttle behaviour is due to the transmitter or the LSN being too rich as it was very boggy. Next time it goes backwards I will take it apart and have a tinkle, thing is I just put a roto start on-will this have any effect?Thanks for your help guys.

ok the saga continues... I got it started and managed to fight it from zooming off by adjusting trim. I let it idle for a couple of mins to see if it would go mad and it did after a minute then calmed down after I tweaked the trim again, it then cut out so started up again no probs. Idled until it settled then drove it around really slow because Im scared it might shoot off with its unusual behaviour. Ran it until tank empty then filled up started again and it went in reverse!! What the hell!! So I stopped it and re-started and it was ok. So confusing. Any ideas? I ran 2 tanks through it and it seemed to clear out a bit and was running ok-ish apart from this reverse thing.

taking it out now and will try that. Let you know later the results.

ok, update if anyone cares. Got it started today no problem but it seems to have a mind of its own. Starts up then idles for a second or 2 then suddenly kicks in almost full throttle and when I adjust the trim it calms down a bit then speeds up on its own!! Its like its auto adjusting to have full throttle! Im so over it now, its been so long since it worked Im pretty close to just selling it so if anyone has any tips as Im completely stumped and having a car that doesnt respond to my controller is a bit daunting. cheers
