Well Finally today I got time to go and pay the customs charges for the TeknoRC kit that I had ordered. Was so glad It arrived as I was beginning to think that it had got lost.
Now after unpacking I had a workbench full of parts
Some nice Chassis and Motor Mount Details
Also have some DE Racing Parts to put on as well
Rear Driveshaft Protectors, Should eliminate the need for cleaning the drive shafts all the time
Rear Skid Plates
Front Bump-Skid plate
First thing I installed was the Battery tray, a big improvement IMO over the stock Losi E-Conversion tray, Actually has a strap running the length of the batter as well as two covering the width, This battery is going no where so there's no worry of doing a Willashcroft and attempting to murder someone by jettisoning the batteries at full speed
ESC Plate goes at the back of the chassis behind the battery tray
Next, I decided to fit the rear end off of the old Losi, showed how well the Chassis was made, parts fitted together with no issue at all!
Radio box is tiny, However I've no real issue as the Spektrum RX is tiny as well.
Got the front end fitted as well, Putting it on made me take a closer look at the arms and I really need to replace them as well as get some shock boots for the shocks as these haven't got any.
Think atm it's looking pretty good, took off the front and rear body mounting posts as TeknoRC recommend as using velcro on the sideguards to mount the body will provide a better way of mounting the body
Don't think I'll be short of stickers for a while
I will be running the Mamba Monster 2650kV combo on this on 4s. Just have a few more bits and bobs to buy for it, namely a servo, Paint, wheels, tyres, New Center Diff mount and some new arms for the front and rear.
