I think that my 5B flux build set me back around 400 to 500 but I did already have lots of the smaller bits in the spares box. Its the little bits required that can cripple a budget Largescale build. I already had wheels & tyres as well. But I used the more budget brushless motor & ESC from hobbyking. If you want a castle etc type setup then start burning twenty pound notes now

Yeah both weller & antec are well known good irons, I prefer a weller myself though

That's an old car made by duratrax, same chassis as the maximum mt but will need a duratrax expert to confirm the exact model EDIT it's a duratrax maximum for sure. You appear to be missing the full spur gear and slipper as already mentioned. And the fuel tank is missing too....

Don't forget the old punisher as well, tough and good round the track. Baja is still number 1 for me but it's not the best at racing as it's only 2wd

Crikey that's a vintage for sure. I have a kyosho super bomber and it looks to use the same chassis, and I think they also used it on the Raider too, so gotta be about 25 years old? Keep trying to rescue the battery's though, I have a old tamiya pack from early 80's and it still holds a small charge

Meat with gristley bits or massive bits of fat. Offal - kidney, liver etc Fishy fishy fish. I like some, but anything smelling fishy reminds of of being a kid. Also anyone tried cod liver oil? Not the capsules, but the stuff in the bottle, served by the spoonful. I'm mentally scarred by being forced to have some when I was a bairn. Marmite is lovely though, it's just misunderstood. Pickled garlic is nice too...

NEB generally only organise a bash around once a month/4weeks mate. However I understand that some of the other guys on here meet up more often for their get-togethers if you can't make it to the NEB event.
