Did my Kagama in yesterday as well 🙈. Full throttle landings are not good I know this but how am I suppose to save it while it nose dives into the ground 😆. I kept timing the jumps wrong and instead of letting it nose dive and roll on the front wheels I kept slamming the throttle to get the front up but always too late, full load on the front wheels for about 20mins on and off gave me a one snapped front CVD pin 👍 small price to pay for the enjoyment the truck gave me 😃. Just need to find some pins now to fit 🤔

Aye I think its a beefed up version of the Kronos with a new body and I may be wrong but all the new parts are backward compatible with older models 🤔 so you could upgrade your Kronos trucks with the new stuff if need be 😃. Ebay shop I have been using for spares is RCSparesUK | eBay Stores been finding some cracking stuff on it and free 24hr postage 😄

I did have one go bad out of the standard year warranty and remembered that traxxas did a Life time warranty thing for the lipos so sent them a email explaining about my bad lipo and asked about the life time warranty. What I got back from traxxas was that it only covers USA customers...booooo 🙃. Still got the poor lipo in my sand pit awaiting disposable now it's fully discharged.

As a person who got into the hobby with the traxxas charger / lipo combo, the chargers and lipos are not worth the money you can charge the lipos on normal chargers if need be but you need an adaptor. Bit of time researching lipo basics and chargers will net you better kit and more lipos because traxxas ones are silly cash 😲. It can be a bugger finding lipos that fit some traxxas cars, I had a right game finding lipos for the Traxxas UDR and revo 2.0 🙈. Also chopping off the traxxas plugs off your new traxxas esc will void the warranty of the esc 😬 but thats if you care about that stuff 😆, you could use adaptors but I have found them hit and miss and now just whack XT90 on all my kit 😃 .

Aye the Maxx is bigger than a normal 1/10th , It looks massive to some of the 1/10th stuff that get about the track by me 😅

It might be taking a longer time because the charger you have is a 65w charger and a 4s 5000mah lipo for a safe 1c charge rate will need 84w to charge that lipo at 1c = 5A Your charger is putting around 3.8A into the lipo, so the charger cannot put enough juice into the lipo so that's why its taking longer. I only have my lipos to go off but generally they take anywhere between 25 -45 mins @ 1c charge rate This page explains it LiPo Charger Wattage vs Amperage - max charging rates explained – Motion RC WATTS = AMPS x VOLTS this calculation can help you find a charger that can hopefully charge your lipos @ 1c if you ever wanna upgrade 🙂

New diff pins for the Kagamas centre diff that I broke because I am a idiot 🙃 all the way from Team Corally themselves with added sweets, which I've already eaten. Plus new driver and fans with mounts for the Kagamas motor and a bed for Mog for in the garage because winter is nearly here so should keep him cozy while he watches me work on RCs 🙂

Thumbs up on the team corally bashers 👍 , the 4s stuff is good I have had a syncro 4 since start of summer and absolutely abused it 😅 its gotten to the point I have the same trust in it to not break as my Traxxas Maxx truck 😃. Syncro 4 centre drive shafts have seen better days and the centre drive cups are worn to high heaven only weakness I can see but wear n tear I suppose always upgrades to get 😃 & the 6s Kagama is a beast super fun and takes a beating like its nothing. If after totally tank mode Traxxas Maxx 4s is good, handles like a monster truck if that's your thing but it rarely breaks only wears bits down from use, had mine for over 2 1/12 years and I only upgraded parts because I fancied a change. It has its weak points like all rc cars but nothing silly that costs the earth. You can get one 2nd hand off ebay and save a packet.

If your going use the rc car to get the lipo down to storage voltage levels 3.8v. I use these voltage checkers and stick them on the lipo and drive the car about till I hear the alarm go off beeping its head off, It helps to speed up the process instead of you keep taking the lipo off and pluging back into the charger to check it 😑. When it hits 3.8v you can stick it in your charger and let it storage charge it for you 😃 you can set these little things to most voltages you need to monitor on a lipo. Mogs had enough tonight yet he still makes out he is staving to death when I go get a snack, the little drama he makes out of it always makes me laugh 😃. He meows like hes choking / meowing at the same time ..."Daz give dreamies I don't know how long I have left before I waste away" after he has had two meat sticks and his tea 😆

I broke it 😭 , took apart and cleaned the centre diff of my Kagama and filled it up with 500k oil then when I bolted it all back up it was really tight so tried to spin it by force and crunch 🥲. I thought the new diff juice was just really sticky and needed moving about in the diff. I was rushing because full of cold so little patience and snot running like a tap from my honker 😃. I knew I shouldn't of forced it to move but hey ho I am a knob head 😂. Had to order the part from team Corally themselves as my usual places have non in stock, kept waking Mog up with all my swearing 🤬.

So how are the recalls going work? traxxas going pay hobby shops to fix the problem or expect us to do it 🙄. Seeing how UK not on the list we get shafted, must be all that old colonial british hatred at work 😅
