  1. Hello , I cannot seem to add pictures from an external site like imgur,am I missing something as the pictures I try uploading from my phone are always too big to upload now 😭. I add them to my imgur gallery then link them in the post I make but it goes red and wont accept it 🫤. Cheers.
  2. That is a thing of beauty 😍. Always liked the Truck kits but never seemed to think of anywhere to run them unless I turn the pub car park across the road into a micro haulage business, it shouldn't take up much room 😅
  3. Nice find and I think the new centre diff modules fit in them as well, thing would be well smooth, if a centre diff is acquired from a RC breakers it should be cheaper to upgrade in the future. The Mojave 4s I have is brilliant, not done a thing to it and it's still going strong. I mean I had to strip it down after running it out in a storm 😅 but you know other wise it's cracking RC out the box so them sentons gotta be golden 😄
  4. I have no idea what any of that means for that motor but it sounds like it'll send your buggy back in time it'll be that fast 😃. Orange bits are a nice touch 🙂
  5. Second hand is always a good option if your trying save money and can get yourself a bargain if your not in a rush, just gotta keep popping on eBay or marketplace when you got 5 mins, plus knowing what your after helps speed up the search times. Second hand as Lone wolf mentioned Arrma senton 3s BLX ( before the naff esc up dates ) or a Traxxas slash 3s 4x4 because they been around forever and parts are like everywhere. Team Associated Pro4 Sc10 Rtr Brushless Truck is based on the MT10 monster truck and that's a good platform which is really tough. Was looking at one myself a while back seem good parts support and cheap enough for a blast about and could take the hits as I run all my RCs in quarries.
  6. After a year of abuse was time to do a service on my syncro 4, seems the centre diff leaked really bad on last run so maybe it was time 😅, also fitted a spare traxxas 2200kv motor to my kagama because it needs more wheel speed 🙈 but all I had spare after the 2000kv hobbywing motor some how got it's shaft bent 🙄. Fan is helping cool it for now.
  7. Oh cool I was wondering how I would go about getting these, thanks for posting the link I'll get it sorted later 😃.
  8. Hello 🙂, If anyone is noticing there Dumbo DDF 350 is steering on its own and cannot get it to centre. Take the wheel off and do the calibration without it on and after calibration replace the wheel and only slightly pinch the screw that holds it in place and that should get it centering again and not drifting to one side. I was having problems with it drifting to the left and for the life of me I could not get it to centre correctly, so I took the wheel off and did the calibration and worked as should but after I refitted the wheel it was still drifting so backed the screw off till it stopped and works a treat now. TLDR : don't over tighten your steering wheel it causes problems 😄
  9. I have been rocking the proline badlands on my Maxx for past few years and they have held up great 🙂. If only one has blown see if any RC breakers have any in stock might be cheaper to get two like new ones if your happy with the back flips.
  10. Fitted new gears and cush drive to the X Maxx , the cush drive got eaten alive when the spur shat it self last week and broke apart 🙈 but at least it died doing it's job 🤣
  11. New bits for the X Maxx 😀 , going try 20/50 seeeing how it's ment to wake this thing up quite a bit not that it's lacking for me but seeing how I blew the OG spur may as well stick it in and see how it goes 😁
  12. Don't know much about the Maverick line up but seem nice for the money and have heard good things about these Quantum2 RCs https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/maverick-rc-quantum2-xt-flux-1-10th-stadium-truck-red-1363001 This is RTR and Hobao make cracking buggies https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobao-tt20-pro-truggy-truck-rtr-silver-body-1363229 Also this if your after a good 2wd buggy https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/corally-syncro-2-1-8-brushless-3-4s-basher-buggy-rtr-blue-1370721 Bit over budget I know 🙈
  13. Dunno not tried them yet 😆 suppose I should give them all a test tonight see if they work before the return window closes. Tell you what they do seem very premium with the metal cases and they even come with little screws and sticky back tape. Running this spare big fan I got a while ago takes a beating but my god is it loud sounds like a drone is stalking my Kagama but cools it like **** https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005775958272.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.33.64821802m4kLsV I got a knock off rocket fan last year it lasted a while but never really worked that well kept cutting off for no reason 🙄 so got these see what all the fuss is about but had to fight with my inner skint flint self ( "Daz you don't need them fix the other one our buy them cheapo none branded ones off eBay" ...."No Daz we both know they will die within minutes of seeing fresh air, go look through the scrap bin to find stuff we can use in the future....."fine but your not buying anything else for that X maxx or I will wake up at 2am and make you think about all the little RC jobs you keep putting off" )
  14. Got the pinion off the X Maxx motor took my time with the soldering iron warming up the pinion etc and didn't strip a grub screw which I am happy about because I put locktight on the grub screw and motor shaft but it all came off without much hassle 😀.
  15. Loads of fans to upgrade the old stock ones I got, I can feel in me bones a fan death going stop my fun at some point this summer 😅 and I may start messing with gearing on some RCs to spice them up a little so going need bit better cooling 🙂
  16. Yip The Dumbo is cracking value for the money, bit sluggish in the menus but for the money cannot complain. I use a little lipo to power my DDF350 makes it very lightweight and super comfy to use 😃
  17. Hello 👋, I have been reading up on X Maxx hardened steel spurs and seems GDS make good ones but I was wondering where to get GDS spur gears from as I can only find a uk ebay seller but dont know if they are legit because seems imported from china and we all know that place is full of knock offs 🫤. Anyone know of a seller they have used before to get them off ? Open to suggestions If anyone has any alternatives to GDS I'll try them as well hoping find some that last 😀. Cheers
  18. Broke it 😅 bit of a hard landing on a stone floor with the X Maxx which I think did it , not very high been launching RCs off it for a past few years and they are ok but was going flat out so it landed with some force 🙃 , heavier wheels and tyres didn't help i think so hardned steel spur and pinion time.
  19. Welcome and careful on the trigger on jumps It likes to nose dive so the body won't look that good after a few crashes 😭 the body likes to fall to bits I would recommend you get it re-enforced with how ever you do your bodys the front / wings will split on crashes 🙈. I re-enforced mine and it's lasted good few years of abuse 😀
  20. Hello folks 🙂, Has anyone got any experience using these ? the motors seem good stuff and the spec of the v2 ESCs are brilliant 😃 , for the price seems worth a shot but before I get one best ask in case they are too good to be true 🙈. Have only used hobbywing to replace stock stuff in my RCs before but feel like trying different kit and seeing how my Kagamas ESC has a slightly blown cap I will be in need of a replacement at some point once that dies and the motor shaft is bit bent 🙄.....Its had a hard life 😅. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007636032693.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.10a71ca2JLiYpP&algo_pvid=2e2fd4f9-5de7-49dc-84ca-d9e2bd7e66e7&algo_exp_id=2e2fd4f9-5de7-49dc-84ca-d9e2bd7e66e7-0&pdp_ext_f={"order"%3A"35"%2C"eval"%3A"1"}&pdp_npi=4%40dis!GBP!244.90!88.18!!!2299.51!827.93!%40211b680e17460895440713635edb7b!12000041590300136!sea!UK!0!ABX&curPageLogUid=04WvBKtqluDp&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch|query_from%3A
  21. I have a few of these and they work but do move around a bit so bit of rubber underneath the clam to stop it moving on hard landings 😅 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008221827297.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.4.1d78sM6gsM6gf7&algo_pvid=a80e8f34-63ce-4ec2-932b-5b38f47320b9&algo_exp_id=a80e8f34-63ce-4ec2-932b-5b38f47320b9-3&pdp_ext_f={"order"%3A"13"%2C"eval"%3A"1"}&pdp_npi=4%40dis!GBP!13.63!1.67!!!128.02!15.70!%402103891017460862087818119e2611!12000044283326382!sea!UK!0!ABX&curPageLogUid=LiBN4BO7TRnX&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch|query_from%3A 😆 completely miss read the post sorry ignore my reply 🙈
  22. Seen some use that has 😃 got to love a quick fix of wood screws and silicone. Be cool see this when its all shiny and new 🙂
  23. Fitted these big whoppers 😃 lightest / cheapest wheels for the X Maxx I could find, there are others lighter but for two of them I got full set of these 😁 760g a pop if anyone is interested. Not to sure on the side wall writing might scub it off yet , going take it for a run after work tomorrow see how it fairs.
  24. Are they the plastic bead locks that come with the kit ? , if so I found them well naff once I got the bead in place it was a gamble if the thread didn't strip while screwing it all together. I just fitted everything loose then clamped it down in my hands and slowly screwed it together. When you have enough of them give injora wheels a look I got a set on mine and they are cheap and really good plus I found them really easy to assemble https://www.modelsport.co.uk/wheels-tyres/wheels/injora/19?&sort=PriceLow
  25. What a bargain! 😃 the blooming Traxxas light kit for my bronco is £80 plus alone 😵 which I nearly spat my brew out when I saw that price 😑 Cracking copy... er I mean original intellectual property 😅.
