How much you willing spend ? Skyrc do some nice chargers that a few use on this forum. I use HOTA chargers bit more pricy but I like the compactness of them ๐ CNHL Lipo Battery UK Warehouse โ ChinaHobbyLine :- CNHL lipos are a cracking deal if you can find the ones you want in there UK warehouse stock. LiPo Battery for RC Planes, Cars and More - HobbyKing : - these are good lipos had few last year and still going strong. Gens ace are available in most uk model shops I believe can be pricey lipos. These are the ones I have experience with and all the lipos are still working ok ๐

Was the ickle scale stuff 3d printed or did it come with the kit? ( Steering wheel , gear knob etc ) .
-
I use this stuff for my crawlers been brilliant stuff, survived plenty of washouts and still on the gears ๐. Carlube Aquaslip Marine Waterproof Grease 500g - WPG500 | My Motor World

Red and black tis a classic ๐

Thoughts and prayers ๐ for my Dumbo transmitter
Partydaz replied to Partydaz's topic in General - Electric
That's it you rest up and have a snack going need your strength up, I'll not treat you like the others if you get better I promise them traxxas transmitters are scum and deserve to live in the garage ๐คฃ -
After servo shenanigans on my kagama tried my transmitter on another RC and its doing the same intermittent fault. Steer left and it accelerates, sometimes works then throws a wobbler ๐ซฃ. Seeing how it's been freezing around here and all my RC kit lives in the garage I am thinking the cold has done something to it ๐ . I know I should know better but I have left all my stuff in there through freezes before and every thing still works. Things even survived getting wet a few times and still lived!. I am not respectful to my kit ๐ So got it defrosting in my room with the heating on see if that helps ๐ค Anyone else had this type of problem before? I might try warranty it if doesn't work soon ๐ It's a Dumbo dff-350 btw

Recommended Shock Oil Weight in 2WD 1/10th Buggy?
Partydaz replied to Andy_LadRC's topic in General - Electric
It normally gives you an idea of shock oils to use in the manual, what model is it ? . I have no experience of a 2wd buggy maybe see what other buggys of same type are using what I do when the manual is lacking ๐ -

Had a little play with it yesterday day and seems when I steer left the bloody thing starts accelerating like both throttle and steering are mixed together. All I did was swap over the servo probably nothing major going have a look today see what the problem is if I don't freeze in the garage.

Took the UDR for a blast in the snow only one or two areas been used as we've had quite a bit of snow. Think I smashed into more snow than actually driving it ๐ . Seems someones been cleaning up the mountain bike pathways as found a new jump and a bit of clearing to mess about in. So much snow got in the front took forever to clean all the snow off joys of the UDR ๐
-
Stoke on Trent close to the peak district so we always get good snow around here.
-
Did some micro crawling in the scale snow drifts ๐ it's not melting yet so going have a mess about out n about tomorrow morning.

You probably got one in a draw somewhere, most tv`s , kettles, pcs come with them ๐

D6 pro is a bit sluggish but I find its fine the S6 is smooth and responsive, It can be a fiddly to navigate till you get use to it. The displays are nice and bright and the colour schemes for each charge function helps when your doing a lot of lipos. D6 pro has fan on all the time but its not crazy loud like my old traxxas charger and the S6 the fan only comes on when it needs it think that's because its got a whopping big heatsink built into it.

The rubber gasket they use were the wires come out is quite thick so it was a tight fit to get it in the corally servo box ๐ . I did say bad words to it a few times until it went in, the heater in the garage was playing up so I was cold and mad at a servo ๐.

Two pics when she's newish and muddy one is after two years of ownership body is just about holding itself together ๐

****ing love my UDR ๐ฅฐ treat it right and you'll find it's a very rewarding drive, turn the gyro off and it gets more fun trying tame it on 6s. Make sure you check the rear diff pinion gear every now and then as being a locked diff it will wear out with use even driving on loose ground. I go through two a year ๐คฃ . I drive it scale no big jumps and stick to pure off road it's the best handling truck I own nothing quite like drifting it between the trees in the woods or seeing it rip over the sands ๐ซก Shoe-goo or what ever you do to re-enforce the body as it's paper thin and will crack if you look at it funny. If the locked rear diff gets on your nerves traxxas do a open Rear diff. The RPM front bumper is a brilliant thing to have it helps to protect it way better than stock one.

New brushless servo for the kagama a nice recommendation from Wolfie1. It's got some go in it I tell ya ๐ nice and fast and plenty of torque ๐. Looks the business as well seems very well made plus came with good quality servo horn ๐ฏ. Still got left over sand from the UDR clean up, never ending this sand is gets bloody everywhere ๐
-
These HOTA chargers are the business I got two the d6 pro and s6 HOTA chargers been brilliant, good thing about them is the balance current is 1600ma so it gets the last bit of charging done that bit quicker ๐. Discharge rate is **** but I didn't get them for that and they tiny things as well compared to some of the other ones I looked at.
-
Oh I like how the gensace one has : - Synchronous output, 2-in-1 Fast-charging, guessing that means you can get full 200w out of one channel for if you got a big ol'mah lipo ๐. Does the Skyrc charger have that have as I don't see it on the spec sheet ๐ค And the gensace can be used with a external power supply for more power if you ever wanted to faff about with that. Not much difference in the chargers apart from that only downside to the gensace is its white so good luck keeping that clean ๐ฌ

Yip the maintenance is a pain on the UDR but after a few times it's easy enough, the main thing is checking the rear diff as it being locked diff wears out every 6mth for me. I've put GPM steel gears in see if they last longer ๐. If your not after ultra scale the Mojave 6s seems be the way go this 4s glides over the bumps so the big one gotta be as good ๐ Love a rally car but cannot find one a like or cannot get a body I like to fit it ๐ฅฒ.
-
If its a known problem with the charger and you got the spare cash get rid of it and buy a new one, the worry of something happening isn't worth the ball ache. Treat yo self to a new sexy charger ๐ ohhh one with wireless charging and usb ports that you'll never use like I did ๐คฃ
-
Yeah I was wondering that as the 6s Mojave is a nice truck and seems to be left out of the updates so far. I was looking at one but as I have a UDR I couldn't talk myself into it so I talked myself into a 4s Mojave ๐ .
-
Took the Mojave out around the quarry it drifts like the UDR if you push it but sounds like a rattle can when it's bouncing over stuff doesn't have the beef of the UDR but it's just as much fun ๐ and found some ice to slide about on. And the inner cage thingy ma bob keeps most the **** out ๐ probably about 20 packs in and I really like it, I can why these Arrmas are popular. Only let down is the plastic pivot balls ๐คฎ reckon they had to save money somwhere they already wearing out.
