  1. I buy all my mags from Modelsport, they have loads on the shelf when you go in, only trouble is they are the only things you can pick up and look at. All the parts, hop-ups are all in the back out of site.
  2. My new Hyper starts always on 1st pull, make sure your primeing the engine (few pulls on pull start with finger on exhaust outlet untill you can see fuel entering carb) and turn the transmitter throttle trim to max and turn it down once engine has started.
  3. In 5 years of nitro I've never snapped or broken a pull start and all my cars start straight away with the pull start, I wouldn't be ars*ed with carrying around a dirty great expensive kin starter box or a faffin Roto start. Just make sure you've got a charged glow starter a good tune.
  4. I have an O'donnell infra-red temp gun from Modelsport (probably the one your on about) and I wouldn't be without it.
  5. Just sold for asking price, sorry KOYOSHOKEV.
  6. mmm that gets me thinking, what if I take a shock off each corner.........
  7. I had the same problem, I slam my Hyper into the corners and the stock tyres literaly shreaded after 2 weeks so I bought some Proline Knuckles 2.0 1/8 off-road tyre at
  8. I'm selling 2 HPI Roto-starts, 2 1500 Rocket Packs (plenty of life left in them), a small block Roto-start backplate from a T-15 MT-2 and a large Roto-start backplate from S-25 Savage, a mains charger and 2 starting shafts. I modified one Roto-start to go in reverse (cut wires inside and re-soldered) to start a drill start engine, I also modified one starting shaft by putting a larger pin in it (shaft wont fit in any HPI engine). The reversed one also has a replacement push button fitted. The other (newer) Roto-start & shaft are ready to start any HPI engine.
  9. My Savage is on its roof 24/7, its not so bad off-road but on tarmac it rolls on corners (well they all do). I read somewhere that you can lower your truck by putting fuel tubing INSIDE the shocks under the pistons to lower the centre of gravity and make it handle better. I'm about to strip my shocks and try it, but before I do as anybody already done it? By the way I hardly ever jump it.
  10. HPI Savage aluminium ribbed tuned pipe, no dents supplied with spring loaded mounting bracket and screws.
  11. Bought a couple of years ago as part of the Truck-zilla sport kit and hardly ever used, just sitting in a box on top of wardrobe. Absolutely no wear on tyres, slight chipping to chrome finish in the middle of two wheels (hardly noticable).
  12. What car were you waiting for?
