  7. make sure you driver shafts can cope with the extra angle to as they will snap if there is so much angle
  8. I have 2 hpi one ways in my TC-D and my PRO-D from HPI and they are both fine. Ebay is your best bet for them
  9. Genkidoridori.com or raceanddriftjapan.com is good to
  10. genki is great for 12mm offset wheels as are race and drift.
  11. Street jam do a set of steel wheels http://www.genkidoridori.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=1066&zenid=673d57aa681273008923da32ad185feb
  12. If you are looking for just any old shell for drifting modelsport is your best bet but if you want more rarer shells your best bet is genkidoridori.com The use of 9mm off set is used to fill the arches up not as a performance upgrade but does make the wheel base wider U can run a 200mm shell on the tt-01 and u can use 12mm offset wheels for that stance look and more dish is cool for drifting
  13. a 9t would be ok u can gear it down or turn the timing down on the esc
  14. If you can get a good sensored system either a 13.5 turn or 10.5 is perfect for drifting well worth it either something from Novak like the old havoc system Or hobby wing systems are good to as a budget system As for lipos id recommend a 3200mah or 3000mah these are the closet batteries to the weight of all your electronics on the other side for 50\50 weight balance
  15. Yokomo was the first drift kit that ever came out The tt-01d is the tamiya kit id choose as a starter set as it comes with adjustable camber arms front and rear also comes with drift tyres fitted I would recommend going brushless aswell as lipo so much more better than brushed and less hassle if you are going to go for brushless in the tt-01 you should upgrade the centre drive shaft to a alloy one aswell as the cups for the centre shaft and get the alloy steering as it will get rid of the slop that the tt-01 has The Hot bodies cyclone is another great chassis kit that gets over looked. a very capable car right out of the box
  16. Street jam is one of the top chassis and this one is no exception a truly great chassis to drift with The shell should be kept plain and simple like an electric orange or a deep red candy
  17. Dam man that is one awsome body you have there. love it
  18. If you are looking to start I would go for ready to run the sprint 2 is a great car and will last you for life or if you want to keep it cheap get your self a tt-01d would also be a help to say if you have things like batteries for electric or electrics to but if you don't ready to run is your best bet and what sort of money u have to spend
  19. Look on ebay there is a few of them but they are not cheap at all
  20. Lock the diffs is a must and get the set up u like
  21. A locked diff allows both wheel to spin at the same time at the same speed and it makes it easier to control drifts and pack your front diff with heavy grease or heavy diff oil
  22. There is rwd drifting the japanese have started to try it. it works but if you stop it is impossible to get a drift going again but it is very do able.
