So up until today I've only run stock wheels and tyres on my stampede 2wds, but today ordered some Louise RC wheels/tyres as a stop gap until I find some decent ones to stick with. Any suggestions? Used on dusty loose dirt and short grass mostly, little bit of hooning on the road but rarely and I'm happy to swap back to stock wheels for that. I'm really uneducated about RC wheels and tyres!

Selling my hyper Vs .21. Long story cut short, it never ran right and I sent it away to Simon at RC scrapyard who has been great and discovered the front bearing on the engine is letting air in. It comes as pictured, no radio gear, no wheels, just the chassis and engine. It's been driven in a figure of 8 on dry dusty ground for a few minutes and that's literally it, never been rolled, jumped, bashed or crashed. It does include the rear wing which I need to dig out. Would be an ideal brushless conversion project for someone. I'm based near Bury St Edmunds, happy to provide proof of ownership on request. Payment wise I'm easy, cash on collection or PayPal goods and services, I'll cover the fees if it goes for a decent price. Happy to post and will be well packed. £180 collected, £200 posted, open to offers or will swap for something traxxas and electric. I'm not looking to go quicker, I should have explained, it needs a new esc and motor so just want something equivalent to the stock brushless setup

Hi guys, I'm finally starting to work through some of my projects that I never actually started! I have a little XTM Rage MT that is in need of a new esc and motor, any ideas what to go for? Its already brushless so don't want to downgrade. I'm relatively new to RC so am unsure of what will fit and what I need to buy! Nothing fancy, if it would keep up with my son's little ftx tracer brushed I would be happy, and if it would beat it I'd be even happier!

I run my 2wd vxl on 3s but turn the throttle down to 60% on the app as I have the Bluetooth module, more than enough punch and good battery life

Absolutely love my stampede 2wds, both brushed and brushless, but thinking of adding a 4wd to the collection, although I'm worried it will break more being more complex

I was there twice today! The guys that built it are normally there Saturday afternoons but weren't today, they use it for their YouTube channel RC3DPrints, maybe drop them a comment before changing too much as they do timed laps and stuff there for their channel, although it isn't their land and I'm sure they won't mind

It's literally been driven twice at low speed, other than the servo horn being changed due to it stripping the splines it's in perfect condition, except the engine which won't run properly. I sent if off to Simon at RC scrapyard and he managed to find out the front bearing is letting air into the engine. Anyone got any idea how much to ask for? I'm keeping transmitter and receiver. Shame I had bad luck with the car, but my move to traxxas 1/10 electric stuff suits my son who is autistic much better, no noise or smoke and no hot exhausts to accidentally touch! Don't have the budget to buy on top of the VS, so it's either leave it as it is, or get something different and sell/swap. After another day of driving the electric ones I think I'm going to sell/swap it! Thanks for the advice, wish I had the budget for a conversion

So I decided to get an electric car for bashing due to ease of use and noise (little boy is autistic and doesn't like the nitro) and got myself a stampede vxl 2wd. I absolutely love it and am now considering selling my almost brand new Hobao hyper Vs .21 to fund another traxxas or swapping it for one, but I've no ideas about if nitros have much market used and if it's worth it. Want to add another vxl traxxas to the collection instead of the nitro I think. Can anyone persuade me one way or the other as I'm stuck for choice

Looking at a hobao hyper Vs 150amp ESC, can get a deal with 6s for £550 at the moment, anyone got a better deal or suggestions? Not for racing, just general hooning or dirt/gras

Really enjoyed it until a wheel nut coming loose and flying off followed by the wheel ended play, there's plenty there to be going on with, and adding a couple more features would make it even better. The faster corners are perfect for me although I did fling the buggy off some jumps at speeds I wouldn't be doing with the nitro ones. Only saw a couple of joggers and nobody else!

Anyone out there a wizard at setting these up? Pretty sure my new hobao needs a reseal and I'm just not confident delving in that deep, happy to pay for the work, lend a hand, make tea, travel, pay fuel, anything. Just need someone who knows their stuff and is willing to help

So I'm quite attached to my XTM XT2, but it's old and obviously will need bearings and parts doing at some point. Its not been used much but has been stood for a long time and probably wants shocks and other various bits. My question really is, will I be able to get those parts? Can I use parts from other buggys? I'm unlikely to write it off as I don't race, and it gets used on a short grass open area so although it gets rolled occasionally from hitting bumps when sideways, it doesn't sustain damage. Is it feasible to keep it running or should I use it but look to retire it and replace it?

My two! Can't decide which I prefer to be honest, although haven't got the hobao fully run in and tuned yet!

Managed to get it back to close to stock settings and running ok. Done a fair bit of idling and some low throttle driving on smooth ground. I've got my thermometer sorted now so I'll be able to measure running temps and tune accordingly. Also grabbed myself a hsp xstr brushed to tinker with when I get annoyed of the nitro tinkering and need a time out haha. Thanks for all the advice, been a massive help and I really appreciate it

Managed to get it running but won't hold any sort of idle, bog and than randomly runs away. If I drop the idle it just stalls. Anyone got any alternative baseline carb settings I can try? Im still suspecting lean
