Yep, since xmaxx upgraded even their plastic parts for thicker bearings, we no longer depend on RPM parts. Aluminum parts use same inner 20x32x7 and outer 15x24x5 bearings f/b.

Well 3 months is rather soon to tell if they are good. I tend to ignore all the cheap things since they are cheap for a reason - true for everything, need to test it on lipos 🙂

Plastic ones have 2 sizes for internal bearings.

Im not long in this hobby, but it looks like the majority of Traxxas haters keep on hating just because they can't afford it.... Plain and simple.

holly hell they are cheap 138$ for two vs 158$ for just one i bought!! why?! Maybe with the next battery purchase ill try these. I'm bit worried that with low cost comes higher risk of accidental fires...

Too bad most of the stuff from GB is not available here (like lipos). I don't think i need balance board with T1000, but i ordered one just in case, for future projects 🙂

Price vise SkyRC T1000 and K4 are almost the same. T1000 has 450W vs 400W K4. So from majority of what i heard from you guys, T1000 should be the better choice 🙂

Didn't find anything specific, so maybe this will be a good start to chargers/lipos thread for n00bs. Ill start 🙂 I'm thinking on buying charger + lipos, maybe you guys have same feedback in this combo? Also 60C enough or should i aim for 100-130? On paper this combo should work and fit Xmaxx. ISDT K4 + 4s 8500mAh - 60C - Gens Ace PC -M XT90

I don't think its worth waiting, because V1 vs V4 is not that big of a diff - few upgrades and you are at V4, i think it will be same with V5.

Stock looks the same as X Maxx. Not sure how this "sleeve" looks/works like, but it should fit both models.

Since center shafts are cheap and I newer had a problem with them - leave it alone or buy a spare one just in case 🙂

Also - try running some tests, maybe buttons work fine and the issue is some place else?

I see it is possible to buy a replacement, but just by looking at it - its 2 button 4 wire switch so it shouldnt be a prob to use any non HW switch if the price for original is to steep.

And unfortunatelly GDS spurs are sold out... not sure when will they refill the stock.
