LOLOLOLOL that pic of Alonso is funny. im not a big fan of F1 , more of a BTCC ,...but still that doesnt mean i dont look at F1... And to your reply HPI MATRIX STOCK , your the same as me,WHEN DO/WILL THEY SHOW YOU THE BTCC, its only shows highlights at like 4am when im asleep, infact the last time they showed a BTCC race was live @ Knockhill and i was later for work 1/2 way through, i think it was wen giovenardi took that integra and over shot his brakeing point and took it sideways all the way down the hill....infact here's a quick vid of it http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=blea1ZMogic ... that has got to be my FAV slide of all time and keeping it from hitting the sides of the track... pure racing.... i think that beats F1 by a mile, you dont get racing like that in F1 ........ I got a 2.5TRX in my 4tec, now i got a good £300 to spend on a engine, i want it to go fast and its deffo got to be faster than the new TRX 3.3 from traxxas, if not then is there any mods i can do to my 2.5 to make it faster than it is and with the rest of the money i'll go to the pub and get very drunk.... carb,piston...conrod?? ive got 3.3 4tec parts on my 4 year old 4tec,belts,puleys,bearings,steering etc etc... just want it to go like throwing something hot and smelly off a shovel, if you all know what i mean .. lol Mike T Cheers

Have you checked the manual you got with it, its got a diagram that tells you what goes were, i dont have have a manual for my 4TEC , there's an online guid that will help you out if you dont have a manual, its on this site somewere , just cjeck it out, Hope its goes alright Mike

Id go with the Traxxas 4Tec 3.3,........... ive got a 2.5 4Tec and its been amazing till i crashed it at full speen without a shell,and cos of the postal strike, but its wellllllllll worth it , its rapid and reliable , id get 1 b4 they run out :D :D but thats my opinion :D im racin my bro's Audi 2.0l TDI se A6 on saturday so i'll post 3 vids of it then :D an you'll see what i mean :D good luck hunting an if u dot get a 4Tec then good luck with whatever you get Mike T

My friend has got the Astra BTCC Fazer, after he ran it in he stripped the spur gear and hasnt been able to get hold of the parts , and that was over 1 month ago, and he has tried EVERYWERE, but everyone says its impossible to get a spur gear, Could anyone help him , its 1/10th GP Alpha Fazer Astra BTCC , he got it cos i got my 4tec and he loves them, but he thinks its a waste of money now .... im still looking for parts for him but i cant get them anywere.... On the 12th October i'll be racing my bro's new 57 Plate Audi A6 2.0 TDI......not in my Mini Clubman but my Traxxas 2.5 4Tec and from then on i'll be racing various different cars ie Focus ST (THE ORANGE 1), fingers crossed a 400 BHP scooby turbo. I would like your opinion on what you think will win.... Here are the stats of each car : Audi A6 2.0 TDI SE 0 - 60 10 secs.. (bearing in mind that its BRAND SPANKING NEW) 57plate and its got 400 Miles on the clock...lol Traxxas Nitro 4Tec 2.5 TRX, Hitec servo's, carbon disk brake , Tuned manifold and exhaust, full race bearing kit , high grip rally tires... uprated pullys, standard drive belts . Even though its my race i know whats gonna win.... i just thorght id play a lil game on here to liven the place up a bit :D Hope you dont mind the waste of space... MIke T

the order screen said they were all in stock, but wen i rang up to order they said 2 of the items have to be ordered , that was 2 weeks ago, i rang them up on monday just as the delivery van came in, i was put on hold for 2 mins , then the guy came back and said all the parts are here, and that they'll be sent out that day, should of come yesturday but nothing, so i rang thismorning and they said they have been sent out but there's a bloody postal strike , so its up 2 the post office to deliver them wen the strike's over :(

I want to start racing with my nitro car, what are the rules an regulations that i have to know.... plus the big question, where.. i live in a town called Wilmslow thats 10 miles south of Manchester , i was told that Liverpool is the nearest place for me to race. what do i have to do to enter a race... bored playing on the main road annoying other road users. What wheel sizes fit on to the nitro 4tec, i want some deep dish rimz and they have to be fat lol also, ive ordered 3 parts for my car from modelsport 2 weeks ago and they still aint arrived, ive rang up twice and nothings come... shock tower full pulley system rear wheel stub axel's might come 2morrow, but i dont want to get my hope's up , plus its raining here in south manchester so i cant use it

Sorry everyone, its just cos hpi mt2 spx was talkin about failsafe systems,... didnt mean to hijack this thread

ive just set up my throttle and brake, but when i turn off the transmitter the failsafe works by opening the throttle and not putting on the brake(its like its turning the wrong way), but if the control was on, and i wanted to brake it works fine,and the throttle closes.. Theres a little screw on my failsafe, what does this do, does it mean u can set the pressure of the failsafe once the control is outta range.. i'll get a vid if it helps ?? Mike

i got a TRX2.5 in my 4Tec and it took me ages to set up right, it seems to change everytime i use it, i use 16% sidewinder (Blue) Fuel... but crashed it on the bypass near me,Hit a cateye at top speed and flipped it with no shell on it, ooooooops lol
