  1. I know there are people who have converted theirs, but looks like it's all been independent work - namely, not available to buy and install (to my knowledge). Perhaps if you have a 3D printer and you're feeling creative, you could print yourself a mount for cheap? The main risk would be reaching the glass transition temperature of the PLA, causing it to warp. Though it's unlikely with the motor mount. If it's a real concern, switch to PETG.
  2. £80 and the seller was asleep when I came to collect so his mother answer the door. Premium service
  3. Amazing. Thanks mate, I appreciate having it confirmed hahaha. What fun is a project car without a few curve balls?
  4. In my infinite wisdom, I bought a dirty second hand HPI savage on facebook marketplace for pennies. I've got it to start despite everything being wrong with it and I've moved onto trying to diagnose why the brakes weren't working. It's only after disassembling the transmission, I realised the brakes are on the outside of the transmission, and that my model seem to be completely missing the brake assembly. All of it. Gone. Just entirely omitted. To my dumb question: did the HPI savage always come with brakes as standard? I feel like the answer is "obviously yes", but I just can't believe the last owner decided to just remove them?
