It clearly states in the manual not recommeded with 101bk.however its up to the owner

you need the tamiya 302-bk http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?Call...mp;ItemID=25725 as this can handle slow speeds for the 3 speed gearbox.the 101 is for standard cars and tamiya also recommed the 302 bk

Can i ask what speed controller that is???the trucks take different ones to standard tamiya ones....

hi i had a problem kind of the same with my 1st ever r/c car.I had found it to be the reciver-so i changed it and the car worked perfect

yeah it should work no probelm.Ive had that reciver many times.

any 2 channel will work.but the mhz have to be the same and so do the crystals
