  1. Just bought a lovely b6.1 ...just wondered if anyone has a box of spares they want to sell?...suspension arms , ball joints, drive shafts , shock towers, springs and all the other usual stuff that breaks? Cheers
  2. I've just purchased an ex team Durango dex210 ...Yes I know they went out of business and parts are impossible to find but this car is absolutely top spec and does have a a lot of spares with it . Just thought I would put it out there incase someone happened to have a bundle/joblot of spares up in their loft they might sell? I'm hoping once my local indoor track reopens I can get a few years of careful racing with this buggy. Would be interested to hear of any other dex210 racers if they have found other brand parts that fit with a bit of modification.
  3. So ,in an earlier post i asked a question about returning to rc racing in large scale 2wd thinking it would be the best option however... It becomes obvious to buy a reasonably priced 2wd buggy that could compete in a serious race maybe a problem. I now look towards the 4wd buggy and stadium truck particularly the 30 degrees north option with a view to upgrading components. What I would love to know is what is more popular in large scale ?..4wd buggy or shortcourse. I was a buggy racer so slightly biast however if I could go further in short course for less the price I would seriously consider. Any experience opinions on the 30 degrees stuff appreciated
  4. Hi all , This is probably a question that's been asked time & again ....so in short I'm looking to return to Rc after 25 years since I raced seriously in 10th electric Offroad. I'm guessing 2wd LSOR will be the most cost effective as I can't throw everything into this . After trawling forums there's a huge following of reasonable price baja models or the FG marder and at the other end of the scale mcd ,hortmann , lauterbacher. Where to start this new hobby ? Go cheap and end up spending a fortune upgrading/repairing or look at a higher end used model? (If I can find one!) Do people just bash bajas and marders or can you compete at a serious level with them?
