  1. I had a similar problem with my Bosch Aquatak, I stripped it down and found the cut in/out switch was sticking, so cleaned it out freed off the pin that activates the micro switch that signal the motor to turn on/off and greased up with silicon grease and was good as new. Parts manual below. https://www.google.com/search?q=karcher+K4+parts+diagram&rlz=1C1CHBF_enGB892GB892&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=qsI4naOym5areM%2CCMBZ9UOnxsbVVM%2C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kQiAR_YQNlVfgMH8DbWB6gGfMZsrA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjyten41IXwAhVXPcAKHQTWCskQ9QF6BAgXEAE&biw=1920&bih=1057#imgrc=ZwiU81OJEe6wnM At worst have a go and break it then have to chuck it out anyway or get it working with out shelling out, worth a go. Mine was a pain to strip down to get to the pump. Good luck
  2. I would imagine that improves the handling bring the weight down into the center, does the shell still have a bit of room with it fitted ?
  3. The hole in the chassis was a worry and seems a very poor design in my opinion. Not sure why it really needs to be there but I'm sure covering it up wont make much difference doing so. Spent some time yesterday looking at brushless upgrade kits, and comparing the costs with the kit that comes in the brushless RTR Bugsta/Carnage and its pretty similar costs wise spec for spec. I did consider the Outlaw but was concerned about the internal space for larger batteries with the compartment situated where it is and center of gravity etc. It does appear to handle rough terrain better because of the suspension set up being different. Chargers and batteries are on the list too.....😁 Thanks for all the advice so far, much appreciated
  4. Thanks for the welcome, The FTX Carnage was probably the first one I looked a tbh, quite like the bugsta too, I'm sure they are both the same under the shell. Definitely want to start off brushless for sure and the battery technology has changed so much over the years, don't mind any technical stuff as been on the tools all my life so tinkering and upgrading will be enjoyable. Cheers
  5. Hello all, Looking to get into RC again after a very lengthy spell away (in my early teens and only slightly dabbled) so want to start off with a relatively low budget to begin with. Watched plenty of content on YouTube and have done some research, been looking at WL toys, FTX, etc etc to get me started as long as there is good spares out there to repair/upgrade them..........and eventually move on to something better and faster once I've honed my skills a bit 😏 Larger scale 1/10-1/12 would be ideal as I have plenty of space at home (farm and woodland) Cheers and stay safe 👍
