How much faster do you think a 120C lipo would discharge than a 70C?
Just looking for some new batteries, the 120C are 600 more mah and £5 cheaper, i'm guessing the extra 600mah would negate most of the extra discharge rate? or have i got it wrong and it won't really be any difference?- Show previous comments 9 more

yea i will do, i was expecting it to turn up yesterday but parcelfarce f'd me over so not coming til tuesday now 🤬
yea they are the orange and black hardcase ones. I thought they were pretty good, they would last a good 30-40 mins on my Kronos and the punch was pretty good, i had 500k in the centre diff and on punch 2 it would always wheelie on command. I didn't really get them for the punch though they were just the cheapest highest capacity i could get at the time. I had 100C goldbats previously and i would say they were on par with them so would imagine the 120C is probably a lie and would be more around the 90-100 range.

Quickly to add to what to what BashingBrian said. I was watching a video from a very knowledgeable guy on YouTube (can't remember who now, was a while a go). But basically the industry method for deciding C rating was to look what your competitor was claiming, and then adding 10 to it. It's basically the reason why C rating for LiPo's has skyrocketed in the last few years. CNHL is apparently one of the worst for this. I'm not claiming CNHL are bad. I'm 90% percent convinced they are just re-branded Turningy batteries, which I always found excellent.
