We got Ricky’s test X2T and we have been very impressed with it too. It has proved itself out on the trail and on our back garden crawler track.

So my 14-year-old son and I are getting into RC crawling/trailing. He has had toy-grade RCs since he was little, as well as a sweet SIKU tractor, but only took the plunge into hobby-grade a couple of years ago with a Maverick Strada SC. However, he is addicted to scaling videos, and has hankered after a crawler/trail truck for ages. He is eyeing up the likes of Traxxas TRX4s and Absima Sherpas, but to start with, we have plumped for 1/18th scale. Our first truck is a Panda Hobby Tetra X2T (thanks Ricky at BeyondRC!) and we are awaiting the arrival of an FTX Outback Mini X Fury as soon as they arrive in-country to Modelsport. We are also constructed a mini crawler course in the back garden. To follow our adventures, we have set up Dad and Lad RC. I was also proud of him getting in front of the camera even though he was very nervous!

Have you still got the Panda crawler for sale - my 14 year old is desperate for a little crawler like this and would love it! Cheers Mark
