Oh man... I snapped my chassis on the same spot, where it meets the bumper. This is a poor design and bound to happen again as the bumper acts as a hinge and rips itself in case of a frontal impact. Does this mean I have to replace the entire sub frame just so I can attach the bumper?

I have gone with the advice from folks over here and bought local. Still eBay though but returns and refunds are something I am willing to pay a little extra for. @Iain .R, if you get stuck, I have a link to a brushless setup on eBay, which I previously posted in this thread. Setup was easy (well apart from putting the motor on when stubbornly wanting to keep the front wheel on) and apart from the reverse being forward, it works like a dream. The setup has survived snow bashing, rain, cleaning in the bath.... Power is stupid, if I turn, the car flips over, tyres seem to no longer be able to grip, suspension needs firming up... It's just like big cars, as soon as you hike the power, you need to think about upgrading all other components

With regards to my suspension issue: I have no idea how to change shock oil; does anybody have a YT link that demonstrates how to test: Shocks Springs Wheels before decided that it's FUBAR and throwing money at it? (Or the other way, if I upload a video with a specific test, would somebody be able to advise what to replace/repair? thank you

Can anybody comment on this. My Carnage seems to suffer from droop (or is it poor suspension?). Basically now, when I turn, there is so much body roll that it flips over. Rear seems to be lower than the front as well. What shock oil do folks recommend @Jens @Stormbringer? It also seems that now that the Carnage has a brushless setup, it suffers from understeer, which on a real car, I would cure by fitting a Rear ARB, so is there an upgrade that folks know about? I got this and am very satisfied: Surpass Rocket 60A Waterproof Sensorless ESC & 3100KV Motor Combo UK Stock 1/10 from miniaviation_com on eBay. (UK seller with item in the UK, delivered in 3-5 days) I have run it on 2S, 4000mAh battery and got max 25 min. Shortest was 18min when on ice and snow. No heat whatsoever, reckon it can take more. I have a heatspreader on the motor and the ESC comes with a fan. You can also program the ESC with the most ubiquitous card on BG. And have run it in the snow (see pix in this thread) hope this helps

I agree, the problem with ally posts, is that there is no give so the whole force of impact, is translated into the car, causing damage on more expensive parts. Thanks Redback

3S must be mad: at time mine on 2S fails to turn in time and I have to use emergency reverse

does it fit and the Carnage's factory tray? what ESC have you got that can handle 3S?

Hi guys was wondering if you could help me confirm the picture is indeed a broken FTX6325? Does anybody know of a better solution as this is breaking far too easily?

Fun in the snow indeed. The upgrade to brushless is complete. Currently running 2S, plenty enough, especially in these conditions. Do people actually put 3S on these? My ESC says 60A (surpass rocket) No water damage, that I know of... But I noticed that the suspension wasn't always coming back up, perhaps the cold temps affect it?

Err help. I am in the middle of upgrading my carnage to a brushless setup. The motor has 3 power leads, orange, yellow and blue, but the ESC is not colour coded. How do I work out which way to connect the bullet connectors?

That kit looks like proper solid. Do you apply grease to it? Molly?
