  1. I don't understand what you mean by solder the ESCs together arnt they run independently each has its own channel, controlled through the Sanwa MT44 I've ordered. Or do you mean solder the powers together to the battery connector? A basic diagram would be most helpful if possible.
  2. Hello again all. Please could someone study my wiring diagram for a dual ESC setup on a Bully2 and advise me of any issues. I think everything is correct, just unsure what i do with the second on/off switch on the esc or should i just keep both? Could i run all three (2 esc's and a 7955 servo via bec) on just one 1300Mah 3C battery?
  3. Hi all. I am wanting to do a dual esc setup for my Bully 2 as the dig unit is causing issues. I have sourced a suitable 4ch radio/ rx with MOA mixing. But am unsure what ESCs to buy here in the UK. I am powering my servo directly from a second battery via a Cc BEC. Lastly am I correct saying one of the red wires from an esc to the RX must be disconnected otherwise two power are going into the RX. Many thx Paul
  4. Well instructions tell us to wire the BEC inline with the esc power cables to the battery then plug the bec into a spare channel on the receiver (BC channel) on rc4wd receiver. The red power from the ESC to the receiver disconnected as instructed so the esc and the bec dont both supply power. The dig unit gets power direct from the red/black wires from the ESC. All standard stuff if i followed instructions correctly, cant go any other way. And yes the battery was fully charged. I have drawn a wiring diagram for clarity.
  5. Re the BEC, I assume you have separated the relative lives? As that can mess things up also.. Yeah I disconnected the red wire from the esc to the receiver. Thx for your feedback buddy much appreciated.
  6. I'm pretty confident the bec isn't the issue as it's set at 6.0v not sure the dig voltage range but surely within range and servo is functioning ok. The channel 3 dig throttle trim is on 0 so can't see it being that. I'm scared to put a new dig unit in incase the same occurs. And if the dig unit is faulty would this cause what looks like switching issues elsewhere in the electrics?
  7. Hi all. I am having issues with my dig unit on my new bully 2. I've been messing with the electronics and probably damaged something. I have fitted a cc Bec working correctly at 6.0v. I had an issue with polarity on one of the components and not sure what's damaged. Each motor work fine directly off the esc and the servo is OK too. The dig unit was only working on the rear now its not working on front and rear. The led's are functioning correctly power, dig switch, etc just no power to motors. Does it damage the dig testing voltage without motors attached that might be the cause. Also the esc on/off switch doesn't seem to be normal (Transmitter off & esc off=dig green led on and receiver flashing red with no motors attached to dig) (Transmitter & esc on= solid red on receiver, green and 2 red led on dig, the dig switches front rear OK but no output. When I switch the esc off, power remains on dig unit and receiver Only turning off the TX, then the dig powers off to a green led. I'm lost. Please help.
  8. Only ran it briefly inside the house never outside. But I'm aware of its capabilities. Yes it's RTR in hindsight was probably wiser to get the kit but suppose I will have nice spare parts incase of breakdowns. I've ordered two Torquemaster Pro 540 35T's in hoping they drop straight in without issue though Holmes Hobbies where they coming from I'm sure they will configure them for the Bully as I told them they are going on a Bully.
  9. Yeah I will definitely do all of the above. Thx for the valuable information much appreciated.
  10. Also guys, (and gals!) I have a set of Rover HB white dots. Will they be better than the stock pin tires if they are I've heard about shaving them if this is required how do you do it. Thx Paul
  11. Well I've installed the 7955 at 6.0v on the Bec. The servo turned to the left and started smoking and got real hot. The stock servo tested working so I guess I didn't center the servo before installing. Expensive lesson learned. I have just read in the instructions Overload protection is Off!! by default why?? . I guess this would of cut out the servo. The programmer is expensive so I have a new 7955 coming and will be centering the horn off the machine this time. I am in Rochdale but it will be a while b4 I'm up and running as I'm waiting on some motors coming from USA but when I'm sorted I will post pics and perhaps meet up with u all.
  12. I'm sure I read this servo can easily operate on 7.4v that came from the manufacturer hitec. Also I've already cut the red wire on the ESC so I'm committed. Having that extra reserved power via the ext BEC is always going to be a bonus I suppose.
  13. I've already purchased the servo so that's not an option but thx for info
  14. Hi all. I have purchased a new Bully 2 RTR, the manual says it has the Outcry lll ESC. I am swapping out the stock servo for a Hitec HS-7955TG and adding a CC 10A BEC. The Hitec specs say 4.8-6.0v am i safe programming the bec for 7.4v if i programme 6.0v will this be a big improvement over stock servo? Also is 7.4v safe for the stock ESC? If it has any bearing on the issue i am running 3 cell Lipo's. I understand i must disconect the red wire on the ESC. Thx Paul.
