  1. Hey folks hope we are all well.i am building a 1:14 scale drift car but I have a question on motors the motor fitted is a 550 brushed.is brushless better in terms of control ability forget run times if I stayed with brushed is a higher t rating better for drifting or lower like a 13t sorry for the novice question
  2. It would certainly help stop me losing all my screws
  3. Right I've ended up buying a goolrc b3650 3500kv motor and 60a receiver combo also a new servo and transmitter with receiver a 3s 4500mah 45c battery and balance charger what are your opinions good or bad appreciated. I think it will be quicker than stock and runs 2s and 3s so seems ok too me
  4. Cheers chaps but dont do fb unfortunately I'll see if the Mrs can get it up though
  5. Gampla can I ask if you have any suggestions on motor and esc I can use
  6. The standard motor is a 550 would I not need a b3560 brushless motor as that's what I've read.like I said I'm new to all this but the feed back ive got is either a 3300kv or a 4200kv motor with a minimum of 60a esc but 120a preferred combo or can I buy a motor of 1 make and a esc of another
  7. Possibly a chap of youtube said 3mm so you are possibly correct.this is all new too me but I'd like the best buggy I can build myself and tinker with as this is a little project whilst I'm on furlough and it will keep me occupied whilst my company works out whether or not I have a job to go back too.i could have bought a more expensive car and drove it around but I chose this one to keep me from thinking the worst and getting me into the sport from the bottom up which in my opinion is the best way.
  8.
