Hi all, I'm a 40 year old who is returning to rc cars (I last messed around with them when I was 13). I was going to buy an Infraction, but soon realised I wouldn't have anywhere to run it and you can't pick one up for love nor money at the moment. Therefore I have decided to get a buggy and am looking at the TLR 8IGHT X-E. It's way more than what I need, but I want to buy a good one and I want a kit so I can build it myself and have more options to customise it. Can you help me out and suggest what servo, motor, ESC, batteries and tyres would work really well with this? I'd be looking to race it, take it to skate parks, etc. Also, are spare parts for this model / TLR's quite easy to source in the UK? Any advice would be well received. Cheers in advance, Karl

Hi, Did either of you arrange a meet up in the end? I am 40, live in Bedford and am looking to get back in to rc cars. It would be good to find people local to race with. Cheers, Karl
