  1. Looks absolutely stunning [emoji106] I have no words.. Just a little run down the muddy track and it will get the character Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. Thank you very much for this info. I'll try to do something tomorrow as I'm unfortunately at work.. [emoji24] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. Thank you. I'm using Austar AX5 with with receiver combo. It is only a cheap one but supposed to be really good. I don't even know what AVC is... [emoji849] However I do not think it is na option on mine.. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. So it looks like there is something in the settings which needs changing. What transmitter and receiver are you using? I have already tried resoldering the wires but that didn't work so it may save you work.. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. I have checked the the receiver and it is definitely connected in right order. There is no chance for ESC to beep twice on forward throttle. It does that in reverse and then obviously three times in forward throttle. If I reverse throttle on transmitter it will still go very slowly forward and fast in reverse. The only difference is the throttle position. I don't know what else I can do.... Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. Unfortunately after swapping the cables it also affected steering for some reason and it only change the way when the ESC doesn't beep. I swapped it back but the steering is still reversed despite being in normal position on transmitter. It looks like for some reason ESC doesn't like the forward setting. It won't beep at all on forward throttle at all. But then it will beep twice on reverse which should be forward. I have to leave it for today but I don't really know what could be wrong. 7. After first attempt with programing it appears that I have to swap the cables on the motor as my forward is slow which would be reverse and my reverse is very fast which would be forward [emoji16] also ESC doesn't want to beep twice when setting the forward with forward pulled so will swap the wires and will see then Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. I got my battery and charger eventually and soldered the motor to ESC today after long planning where to put the ESC and cables. I didn't have time to do anything last week but slowly coming back to the mission. It looks like the most difficult part will be making the body fit. Lots of plastic cutting ahead... 9. I'm more than impressed [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. Beautiful [emoji108] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  11. This body kit looks really like it's worth the money. I'm hoping to start on mine next week. Just by looking on your thread I'm already thinking about painting it[emoji16] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. Looks absolutely great! This is a proper job. I think that Camel Trophy is a must now. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. Absolutely love the wheels [emoji106] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. Yes I know that. The only trouble is that there is no positive or negative marking on ESC. Just looking at the manual and it says that the ESC has no determined polarity so it should not matter how it is connected to the motor[emoji849] anyway I will assume that yellow will be positive and blue will be negative and we will see what happens Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks guys. Unfortunately Hobbywing decided to do variety of colours[emoji16] By looking on it, my best ques is that yellow is the new red[emoji16] Anyway I got another few steps closer. Receiver, servo and esc are connected now and receiver seiled in its box. A little help of blue silicon with included seals and it's all good I hope. ESC is not permanently attached yet as I will do it when I will have battery here so I can see how all the cables will run. Most importantly, it's on its wheels [emoji4] and love the look of it already Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks guys. I hope it will be fine. I don't like strain cables. Hopefully ESC and transmitter will go in tonight. Then I will focus on the body. One question really. I read in ESC manual that it does not matter how you connect the motor in terms of + and -. It seems strange as on the motor next to one of the pins there is a red dot. I assumed this will will be for +. Could you shed any light on this? Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  17. Another little step closer. Axles and suspension installed and it looks good. I love the weight of it. I used one shim for each axle and it felt good. Thanks again guys for your invaluable advice on this. I'm still waiting for my battery. My only worry now is that the servo cable is slightly too short to make neat connection with the receiver if the receiver should go flat on the floor. But I will see how it goes.... 18. Thank you[emoji106] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  19. I'll keep that in mind. Thank you. It is still long way to go with the most challenging part which will be connecting everything and programming ESC... Oh my world, I may start asking some silly questions again very soon. But one thing at the time[emoji16] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  20. Eventually got something done tonight. It is starting to take shape and I'm getting excited [emoji16] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
