  1. Hi, another load of stuffs, mainly crawler wheels and tyres this time, again im quite desperate to get this stuff moved on and in need of the monies. first up is a set of Rc4wd Dick Cepek wheels, purchased used, theres a couple of tiny marks, nothing to ruin the look of them. Been sat unused, in very good condition. £50 Ono. Rc4wd 1.9” Interco Iroc Super swamper tyres x6, these were bought new and fitted to my lads 6x6, since the change of shell, these tyres are surplus to requirements, excellent lightly used condition. £45 for the tyres, or with the above wheels, £80. Axial Rock Star 2.2” beadlock wheels with 12mm hex fitment, with Axial Falken Wild Peak tyres, used but still loads of life in them. £40. 2 spare wheels, one alloy wheel and one Axial 1.9” wheel with Axial tyre, used but still very useable. £5 each. Fastrax portable toolkit, all present and has seen next to no use, fits in a backpack nicely, i have one in the door pocket in the 1:1. £10. Sold!!! Prices do not include postage or fees, i will do deals for multiples and combined posting is a welcome too. thanks for looking, Gaz. more to follow…..
  2. Im after new front and back bumpers for my scx10 iii. I like this one back cant seem to find it. Other suggestions would be appreciated Thanks
  3. Well, after much deliberation, and a tiny bit of advice from various sources, I only went and ordered myself an SCX24 C10. Took it for its first mini run on the included battery, totally stock and I have to say, I'm very impressed. It really is as capable as people say. Have already ordered some brass hubs and diff covers which should be here tomorrow. Will get them fitted and then it might be a shock upgrade on the cards next, probably closely followed by a new servo. My question there is which servo is best to upgrade to? Anyway, here's a first video, unedited, and a little rough around the edges, but I'm happy for my first attempt...
  4. Hi all, having another clearout of parts I have all boxed away, I honestly can’t see me using any of this so might as well get some use elsewhere. I have much more stuffs to go through but can only manage a bit at a time. so first up is this lot of Traxxas Trx4 and Slash/Rally 4x4 esc’s and motors. All in excellent working order. there’s 4 Traxxas xl5’s all hv and 3s compatible, one of which comes with a Titan 21t reverse motor (taken from a 2 run old trx4) and a brushed Titan 12t motor/esc combo for a slash/rally 4x4. now I know many people think these are rubbish but I’ve never encountered a esc failure from these Trx4 esc, plus the big advantage is that you already have a output for lights and the reverse is full power (unlike the hw1060 which cuts to 1/2 power when in reverse). Finally I’d like to keep the ec3 connectors if possible, I can pop a deans on though if that’s your preference. so if we say, £25 each for the combos and £18 for the esc’s inc. postage and fees. Rc4wd gelande chassis and transfer case, was a project that never started lol. £25. Traxxas Trx4 plastics all in used but very good condition also inc. is 2 metal (red) diff covers. 2 RED METAL DIFF COVERS REMOVED AND PRICE AMENDED. £20. all my prices include signed for postage and the PayPal fees unless otherwise stated/agreed. lots more to come, will do multiple deals and prices are a guide, I don’t mind listening to any offers. would also trade for a savox 1256tg or similar also a 120a hobbywing max10 esc. thanks for taking the time to look, Gaz.
  5. Hi all, another step in the clearout, this time it’s all my spare Tamiya parts, some new some used, all still very usable please study the pic as this is what you will get (not the storage box though). all offers considered but please don’t be silly….. looking for £30 the lot posted recorded. SOLD! Axial high clearance links in green alloy, all threads are good although they are a little scratched up, still work as they should. Threaded in m3 titanium rear upper links, fitted to a rr10 and yeti, could do with a little tweak in the vice. Threaded in m4 £20 for the axial links all in. £10 for the titanium links all in. more to come…..
  6. Axial SCX24 Mil Stone MAX Brass Wheel Weight Kit with Barrel Nuts, Hex Wt. + Overweights Made by kinetic-kms on eBay and imported from the states - fitted only once - as new condition. £28 posted in UK. Payment via PayPal Goods & Services please. Here's a chance for SCX24 RC truck owners to save a bit on the upfront costs + import fees! Effective brass wheel weights for the Axiel SCX24. I have the Chevy SCX24 truck with stock wheels and these were a perfect fit. Selling as I don't really like the extra width they add. Product info: "Mil Stone MAX weighted wheel spacer kit for the Axial SCX24 Crawler. The Mil Stone wideners offset each side three millimeters for a total of six millimeters of extra width. Each Spacer, Overweight and barrel nut add approximately Fourteen (13.98) grams to each wheel (scale in picture not included) adding a respectable 56 grams at the lowest point possible resulting in a much improved CoG. The barrel nut is made from 303 Stainless Steel. This kit now comes with the Overweight V2.0. They are compatible with the stock wheels and the new Kinetic Beadlock Wheels. The Spacer and Overweight is precision machined brass. This kit was put together so that you don't have to buy the Mil Stone 4 kit AND the Overweights. Just purchase the Mil Stone Max and you have the best."
  7. Hi msuk community, I'm brand new to the hobby and looking for a small scale crawler I can run indoors and learn the ropes with, everything articles and YouTube is telling me is that the SCX24 is a good place to start. As it will be first car and I'll be trying my hand at mods I'd rather pick up someones surplus/unused spare rather than buying new. If you have a complete setup you aren't using any more let me know and I'm prepared to give fair money, especially if you've already begun the modding process. Thanks, 12h87
  8. I’m hoping this is the right forum thread to post this. I’ve had a nice response to my “hello” thread and a couple of people have suggested I do a build thread...so here goes. Be gentle, this is my first attempt at a build thread and my first foray into an RC build. Personally, I think building is more interesting than an RTR. So here’s the kit box and some sprues from bag 1. I’m going to run stock for now - although I’ve already been drawn to all the shiny upgrade parts - and if anything breaks or wears out, I’ll upgrade to whatever I’m drawn to online. SSD look like they do very nice stuff for this chassis. One of the reasons I chose this particular one was the myriad of upgrades available from lots of different companies. Also, does anyone have any experience of purchasing parts direct from the Far East? I’ve found a lot of offerings from a lot of manufacturers on Aliexpress. I also picked up the nice Fastrax tool set from Modelsport. I’m starting from scratch, so it’s nice to invest in some decent gear that’ll hopefully last a while. Does anyone recommend using shock pliers btw? The shocks on this kit are plastic, but if I go down the aluminium shock upgrade path in the future, will they be a good tool to have?
  9. EDIT: I have changed the title of this thread, It would be good if everybody added there tips and tricks to this thread so everyone can find all relevant info's in one place ..👍🏼 Feel free to add whatever you what, this is isn't my build thread..😁 Hi, So this crawler thing is all brand new to me, I've seen all you guys on here with them and I love all that scale realism and wot not.. I've been watching all the newly realised vids for the SCX10iii and to me it looks amazing, I've heard a lot of people say "oh no, not another Jeep" and "not very realistic to have portals" but to me that's one of the bonus's. Never really thought about buying one before but I love to build things and tinker around, building that transmission looks like loads of fun..!!😉 Only problem for me is, have I just got hooked because of the situation were all in at the moment or do I truly want it..?? My background of RC's is mainly Bashing Arrma's but as I said before I love to tinker. ( I have some woods locally to me, so I've got the terrain for a crawler ) I can afford the truck now, but a motor and esc would have to wait a couple of weeks also I've no idea where to begin with an esc/motor for a crawler.?? I have plenty of 2s Lipo's which I believe would suit this truck.?? I also have a DX5c and a spare 20kg servo knocking around somewhere. Any help or advice would be great..👍🏼 So come on guys help me decide.. Thx in advance
  10. As per the title, I'm after an Axial SCX10ii UMG10 6x6.
