  1. You can take the diffs apart for maintenance but I can't remember if there's a gasket in there to seal it....I don't think that there is. It's a matter of choice on diff grease mate, loads to choose from, have a look at Modelsport. I just use a random diff  grease that I got given once in the MT, works OK for me.

  2. Not had the rx myself but I have a maverick mt. For the money I think that they are OK as long as you don't expect too much from them. Spares are widely available as are hop ups. Recently upgraded mine to brushless and its a  fun drive...no problems with it yet.

  3. It's a few years ago since I had one of these but I think the standard battery was something like a1600 mah standard nimh (tamiya style) & seemed to last ages. You sure it's fully charged? Otherwise maybe you have a dud battery.

Not done anything to my models, but did yet another new shell for my wifes brushless outlaw, she still has her own stickers to put on, she calls it "Dirty Fairy", she wanted a nice new set of robes on it for scale nationals, what you cant see is all the black Gorilla tape on inside of shell, see if this one lasts any longer

Haha! Bought a Bugster shell a while ago to fit on a maverick.....paper thin....did the same tape thing  with mine to no avail...didn't last  2 minutes ☹️

had to look up what this was...and it's not hte road car Jimny we all know and hate.... its an old 70's Kei car type with a 500cc 2 stroke motor. So actually, it was tiny.  Slightly odd looking, and was a design Suzuki inherited.

The hairdressers offroader we know came along in the 80's after this was discontinued.

Still looks pretty cheap and tacky though. But at £250 ish from Banggood....its not really cheap

Hairdresser's  off roader!!!  The Jimny is a very good off roader.....will put a lot of more expensive things to shame  !

What I will say though is the brushless motor is mine and my mates Stradas died pretty quickly and we said at the time that if we could start again we'd get the cheaper brushed version and chuck a hobbywing max10 combo in it instead. Last time I looked the brushed one was 60 quid cheaper and a max 10 combo is £90

Didn't know that the Mavrick motors were suspect! Been thinking of getting one.....maybe that's why they're in the sale at MS ?
