    Hi I’ve purchased a second hand sste and it’s running standard diffs, I have a spare centre spider diff from a hyper st pro can I fit this straight on to the sste, or is it worth just leaving it alone as standard as the hobao hyper pro only has a spider centre diff so I believe Thanks in advance.👍

    Hi just wondering if anyone has done a brushless conversion on a 3.0 buggy or if anyone knows for sure if the LOSA 0912 conversion kit fits this model as I’ve read it’s for the 2.0? Thanks in advance

    Hi also if you look at the vse mount the whole where the bearing goes through is in the centre, if you look at the cheaper copy the hole is way off centre this may/may not cause you problems, good luck with your project.👍

    Hobao hyper vse mount will work without any modification but are around £40. 👍

    Hi another question I have I’m halfway through converting the hyper star to brushless I have the standard centre diff which I think is 40 tooth what pinion would you or anyone recommend running 4s 2200kv motor or will it just be a case of trial and error thanks in advance for any help.👍

    Hi has anybody fitted a hyper st pro brushless mount to a hyper 8.5 or does anyone know what mods would need to be done to make it fit, or is it not worth it cheers in advance for any advise. Thanks Dan

    Ok thank you for that I have a mount in the post for a hyper 7 conversion I will give that a go and see if it is possible if not maybe I’ll have to put it back on the bay. Cheers again.👍

    Hi I have got an old hyper star which I brought from eBay on a whim was wondering if anyone has converted one to brushless and would be able to point me in the right direction for a motor mount, is it the same as hyper 9? Does anyone have a part number, thank you in advance.👍

    Hi thanks the reason I want 2x 3s lipo is because my esc have 2 connectors to run in series I already run 2x 2s lipo in the buggy and can use a single 3s lipo in other cars I have. Maybe I should look into the Losi tray then thanks again.

    Hi all I have a hyper 7 brushless conversion and a hyper vse both running on 4s two 2s 5200mha I have them both on hobbywing max 8 combo but was wondering if anyone is running the same or similar on 6s ideally I’d like two 3s lipo s but am unsure due to having the hyper battery tray which would be compatible or would I need to change to Losi battery tray to give me more options any advise would be great thanks in advance.?

    Thanks for your advise I’ll look into the Lipo going to wait until my battery tray turns up so I can make some measurements for the Lipo size, I will be using a 150a esc 2200 motor and yes a 46t spur so I’m hoping this will be a good little set up. I’m looking at servos ATM and found a second hand savox sc 1257tg I’m looking at but not sure if this would be good or not.

    Thanks that’s great I have just ordered a 15 16. 17. 18. 19t pinions to try, what battery do you run? I’m planning on going 4s but have not ordered it yet not sure which ones to go for.

    Ok thanks for that, all I need now is a pinion still not sure what tooth pinion to go for and 4s Lipo any suggestions?
