  1. Great charger but surplus to requirements.
Includes a Traxxas 3S battery but can't say how many charges the battery has had as used (pre-owned) so kind of throwing that in with the charger FOC.

Have put it on an eBay auction here:  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325333217577

Starting bid of £44.99 plus postage.  Sold for £52 odd on eBay

  2. SOLD - Just put these on eBay for sale.

They're in good condition and are usually around £40 a pair.

Fell free to bid on the auction starting at £19.99 plus postage or if any MSUK members are interested and want to buy it now just let me know & can do for say £40 posted ONO for all 3 tyres (saving £5 over the eBay buy it now price).

Thank you kindly - that does look cool - I'll  check out some reviews about it.

    Cheers,

    Johnny

Yep definitely take your time choosing and do some research first.

Like I said I had the 1/6th version so haven't had the 1/10th but they're very similar in configuration overall just different scales. That will make a difference though with performance, handling etc etc.

Lot's of cool things you can do with stadium type trucks though once you do get one, ...what I mean is like adding extras like lights or other details to the truck if that's your thing and seem to go well on a large variety of surfaces sometimes without even bothering to change tyres.

    This was mine.

  4. I used to have a Losi Super Baja Rey which was an awesome truck albeit a little out of your budget.

What about it's 1/10th scale baby brother the Losi Baja Rey?

For me it's the live rear axle on these type of trucks that adds to the realism. If you look at the second hand market you maybe able to get one for 2/3rds of your budget giving some spare change for batteries.

Great to see familiar faces and your cars again in the video's, how did you get on @GMballistic I know pie smashed his own world record twice.

My event was very problematic and I spent most of my time stripping & rebuilding/problem solving with the Typhon.
I did get a new PB of 129mph odd with the Typhon and was hoping for more but was plagued with problems. The Limitless I never even ran as went to turn it on and my XLX was dead.

It was an expensive event for me: x1 dead XLX, x1 set of GRP's, x1 motor mount, x2 dead 6S batteries, x1 Typhon shell and some other minor bits.

  6. It was a great event.
Kev and Raz were both great guys to meet in person ~ Raz was obviously a superb driver but it has to be said Kev did fantastic too. I won't say too much about it as I'm sure they'll both share their videos of the event once they're ready.

  7. Welcome aboard. :good:

So much competition for RC videos on YouTube so just try to enjoy what you're doing rather than focus too much on subscriber numbers is my advice. If you're trying to grow your channel then it might be worth joining some groups on FB like Tamiya Legends where you can share your videos regularly.
You can of course share them here as we all love RC. 😁

I see Raz Shifren and Kev Talbot are going to UK ROSSA

    Yes that's right.
I think it's going to be good for ROSSA to have two such well known YouTuber's go and hopefully they both do well.

It will also be good for Kevin Talbot to be running somewhere where he can at least get the most from his build. We all know Raz is fast AF but Kevs project really hasn't shown that much potential yet or at least its full potential.

Going  to be one heck of an event. Can't wait. :good:

What sort of speed are you hoping to get out of it

This one is going to be starting off in the 1 cell class so I'm hoping for over 100mph but we'll have to see how it goes.

I'm used to higher speeds than that usually but then that's with my 1/8th (6S) scale Typhon buggy and 1/7th (8S) scale Limitless which are imho easier to make go fast.  :good:

Happy to negotiate a price with any MSUK member if they're interested.
It has been used in my old Infraction and is a beast of a motor.

    RRP £260

TP Power 4080CM brushless motor custom 2900KV speed run 6S drag run.

For sale is my almost brand new TP Power 4080 CM custom 2900KV brushless motor.
Ideally for 6S use, is vented and has an 8mm motor shaft with a flat (for grub screws).Motor measures 117mm from front cap to end cap and has a 25mm long pinion/motor shaft.

Pre-fitted with 8mm bullets so no soldering needed. This is a custom made motor because I had to request TP Power to make it in this KV which wasn't cheap. It is perfectly suited for speed runs and drag runs with incredible power.
Bought brand new from Onyx Rc Power Systems earlier this year for a drag build I started but didn't continue with.

Picture of the motor as it was fitted in my Infraction drag run build.
