  2. For sale is my FTX in perfect working order. Well maintained. Originally purchased as a Carnage. Comes with 2 sets of wheels/tyres (Carnage/Bugsta), 3 shells as shown. Green Bugsta shell is excellent condition (used once along with the white wheels) other 2 shells are used but decent condition. Brushless conversion using a Hobbywing EXRUN MAX10 Combo. Requires transmitter/receiver. Balloon shown in pic contains my receiver which I will remove. Collection very much preferred so I can show working (Billericay Essex, can deliver localish). Will consider posting using Royal Mail at cost. Will not post using Evri. Just to confirm, 1 car, 2 sets of wheels/tyres, 3 shells. Some spares also included. £140 only.

  6. Axial SCX10. Light use only. Comes with TX/RX, runs very smooth (and a lot quieter than my TRX's!). Axial ESC fitted. Body has been modded, some will like, others won't, easily replaceable with dozens of options. Lights fitted as you can see, not connected so cannot comment if working, no reason why they shouldn't. Complete with box and manual. Selling on behalf of someone that's not into RC anymore. Priced to sell at £140, just requires battery. Sold as seen as per usual, can be seen working. Based in Essex. I can post at cost if I have to, will work with buyer to choose best option.
  7. 2 brand new receivers complete with aerial tubes and a binding plug. Compatible with GT2, GT3, GT3B, GT3C and GR3E transmitters. £14 for both including postage.
  8. 1/8th scale racing buggy in excellent condition. Run a couple of times only. Purchased as a nitro for £348 and converted immediately to electric. Running a Flux Rage 80amp ESC with a brushless 1965kv motor combo purchased for £160. Runs on Nimh or Lipos up to 4s. On 4s it's ridiculously fast. Complete with transmitter, just add your battery. Can be seen working. Shell is original so has cut out for nitro engine, a new shell is approx £20 if you wanted a change. This thing is built to last. Comes with box, manual and multi spanner as shown. Collection is Billericay, Essex, or can post at buyers expense (we'll work together to establish best method). £230 only.

  13. Hi, decided to put my Mauler up for sale as really don't get a chance to use it. Standard ESC/receiver combo was removed as pretty awful. Been replaced with a Traxxas ESC, Traxxas receiver and TQ transmitter. 2.2 metal beadlocks fitted with 2.2 Duratrax Deepwood tyres. Only used for a 1 hour run. Wheels cost me £35, tyres cost £42. Metal steering arm, shaped for better clearance. Metal long servo horn. Body shell is painted with a Tamiya dark metallic grey, couple of light scratches, no cracks etc. Stickers can be removed. Also included is another full body that has been sprayed matte black on the outside, white roof. Not used since painted. Chassis has lights fitted at front as standard, I have also added the spots. Nothing wrong with the rig whatsoever, diffs and transmission have been greased. Has never been near water. I will include a 3300mAh Nimh battery so it's ready to run, the ESC is 3S lipo compatible. Priced at just £145 which I think is pretty good given all the upgrades. Would prefer collection (or local meet) Billericay Essex so it can all be seen working, but would be happy to post at cost which I'm guessing will be about £10. Feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures. Thank you.
  14. For sale 2 1/2 years ago, possible sold by now.
  15. I've often thought about storing batteries outside but not sure how they would react to varying temperatures? Minus 5 to plus 30 (one day a year!) Thought about keeping the ammo box in my BBQ, which is undercover. Overkill maybe.
  16. Just a reminder, it can happen at anytime. Lucky I was at my club in the pits, outside. I normally charge up at home the night before, luckily I didn't this time for some reason. 2 x 5000mAh shorty batteries where in my fire proof sack. They were (and always have) being charged at 1C with a SKYRC T200 charger. Non of my batteries have swelling, and at the end of racing they are storage charged. Batteries approx 18 months old, make was Corally. The leads were ripped from the charger once the smoke was seen, and chucked on the floor away from the pitting area and covered with sand. The smoke was immense, as was the smell of lithium and burning rubber. The flames were contained by the sack. I've made a few changes at home now following what happened. I charge in my garage but have moved the charger close to the door rather than on my work bench. I will charge with the door open. I will only place one battery in each sack, even it it just mitigates my losses! (The batteries were 60 quid each, I lost 2 Monkey RC charging leads and a fire sack). I've replaced my fire extinguisher as saw it is out of date this year. My batteries have always been stored in lipo sacks in an ammo tin, I will continue this practice. Guess this is just a heads up. I've been charging lipos weekly for many years. I like to think I know what I'm doing, just bear in mind that although unlikely, it could happen at any time.
  17. This is what you need: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313&_nkw=Aluminium+CNC+UPGRADE+Steering+Link+Arm+For+Axial+AX10+SCX10+Silver+S+L29+pm&_sacat=0 And here it is fitted to my Mauler. I removed the bump stops, replaced the 2 front screws with countersunk ones and fitted this link. Sorted out the steering good and proper.
  18. Had a Klein Attitude in red/yellow. An Orange Clockwork, and then a Specialized Stumpjumper Team in purple with Specialized shocks (when front shocks were pretty much unheard of!!). Just have road bikes now.
  19. I have a used Flysky GT3C if interested. Can come with 2 receivers and may have the box in the loft. PM if interested.
