  1. We’ve also had this problem a lot. It was worse when we were running some cheap aluminium hubs, but even stock it would throw them at the slightest bump. It’s probably worth checking the hubs haven’t worn on their carriers, any play there will make it more likely to chuck a drive shaft. The most effective solution we found was to swap them out for CVDs, all good now and on the very rare occasion it gets a massive whack on a front arm it only comes out of the gearbox side, you don’t get to spend ages looking through the mud for the drive shaft 🤣
  2. Nope, it’s sat on my desk. It’s yours. Where are you at? Would you like post or collect? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Found during a shed tidy up today. It’s a handy programming box for the 80 and 120A Trackstar ESC’s. I don’t want any money for it, collection from Ruislip West London or could post if you covered the cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi, I've picked up a rolling chassis for a good price but its missing some screws and a few other bits. I checked on a few sites and the official TA screws seem super expensive! I was wondering if there are other places to buy non official screws from?
  5. Doh! I’ve just re read the description and you are totally right. Having a dumb moment! Thanks for the link to the video, I’ll have a watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. @PH001, ha I was just thinking about that in light of the suggestion from @supersavage. I think that level of buggy is beyond me right now, especially given the lack of electronics in the kit. I'm thinking maybe a couple of hundred all in for the car and electronics, I've got plenty of batteries and radio gear though, so I won't need to budget for that. I've seen plenty of talk about the Tamiya TTO2B cars, would they be a good choice? We aren't looking to compete with the Schumacher and TA guys at the track, we just want to have fun practicing and trying to improve on our own times.
  7. Awesome, I’ll have it. Thanks for the help. How so do you to do money and details etc?
  8. I do need some advice, if I may? this is what it originally had in it Link, is your combo a good replacement? I’m not looking for more performance or anything, same sort of speed would be fine.
  9. Is this still available? I’ve been looking for a replacement setup for a Helion Dominus, I’d just need to check this would work.
  10. Can anybody recommend a good starter buggy for racing? My son and I have a few truggies, but the only 1/10 buggy I have is a ReRe hotshot, which is taking a bit of a beating with the rough and tumble of us practising at our local track. Ideally I want something 4x4 because our local track is a bit slippy, and something easier to work on than the hotshot. Weve got a good mix of nimh and LiPO packs, I guess I’d like brushless, but I wouldn’t rule out brushed initially, with an upgrade later. r.
