  1. nice one cheers didn't think of dirt bike shops, just rc shops lol
  2. Also added a bearing modded 990 carb and made a little carb filter cover, looks like crap but you can't seem to get hold of the nice looking team chase ones anymore
  3. Well my buggys engine sucked in a load of dirt so flushed the crank case out, head looked ok so put a new piston and ring in with copper head gasket and took it out yesterday, seems to have got it's power back so all is good again. Throttle servo packed in so just stuck a stock losi 5 throttle servo in, took off the rear anti roll bar as our little track is getting very bumpy now, seem to have more rear end grip without it anyways and took off most of the body mesh as it wasn't really stopping any of the crap from getting in and seems to run cooler.
  4. Where did you get the air filter cleaner from? used to get it from freeprawn, checked ebay but can only get it from usa
  5. Rovan LT305 (losi 5ive clone) 30 Degree north Buggy - Rhyl, north wales
  6. He definitely has, he flys much better than we drive lol, he came out again last night and shot some more footage
  7. Some footage of my Rovan LT green edition been followed around our little self made track
  8. Out with the 30 north "Dyson" vacuum again last night lol and after just a few minutes running it's filling up with grass again (normally can't see the pull start cover for grass), in comparison my mates Losi 5b has almost zero grass in it, having to run it super rich to stop it over heating completely.Looks like I'll have to try meshing up the side holes in the front windows, think the throttle servos getting a bit hot as well as it stopped working last night but works fine today??
  9. Mesh doesn't seem to help much, it finds a way in but doesn't seem to flow out the back like it does on my 5ive clone
  10. Well this is my effort, only had it out couple times, cut a track in the grass where we run and this thing likes to hoover up the cuttings and keep it in the chassis so starts getting a bit hot. Looking forward to getting out more offten when the grass calms down a bit lol, fun buggy to drive though...definitely a challenge to drive with that lively back end.
  11. £500 posted and without engine, radio gear and bag?
  12. post a pic of the inside of the head and never use the K&N style paper filters , stick to a oiled good foam filter
  13. Had a v2, hated it, sold it and got a 30 degree north truck now I'm happy. As for hassle free and reliablity with the DH, maybe if you get good one but I've seen people snapping rear drive shafts and diff cups, servo savers locking up and stripping servos, but each to there own as they say, would be boring if we all like the same RC's
  14. Yeah I knew when I ordered it that Rovan weren't the best but I wanted the green edition one lol so was expecting loads of problems and I wasn't disappointed lol but quite enjoyed sorting it out and it goes well now.
  15. They really haven't, unless I was just unlucky and got a dodgy one
  16. Has anyone put some mesh over the cut outs in there shell? what mesh did you use? was thinking of the Halfords body repair mesh but think it's a bit too soft and would tear very easily
  17. these buggies any good? thinking of getting one
  18. Your a star! thank you! got them ordered
  19. thanks, what heading is it under? been though everything FID and can't find a rebuild kit
  20. Anyone know where I can get the shock shaft o-rings for losi 5 shocks? tried rcmodelz, sliverback rc and ebay but no go
