Hi All, I have a problem with my Ion and could do with some help working out what is wrong with it. When switching on the car hooks up with the transmitter, the steering seems to work but when pulling the accelerator trigger it jumps forward then stops and seems to show no more signs of life then the ESC starts flashing. As it is the car is unusable and I can’t seem to find a solution. please help?

FYI a new steering server fixed the problem

I have a maverick ion and recently the steering has been deteriorating. Last time I used it there was lots of buzzing and clicking noises but it didn’t want to steer just driving in straight lines. It almost feels like the electronics want to stop the wheels from steering and after I switch it off the resistance goes. does anyone know what could be causing this?

If you could measure up and let me know the dimensions then that would be great thanks! The bolt which goes through this washer is a 3x8 so I think it should work.

Thanks G, what i cant tell from this part is the size. The part I need is for the hub rather than steering arm which is very slightly bigger than the steering arm. this will help and I’ll also keep looking!

Hi All, i recently purchased a maverick ion 1:18 which has been great fun. One of the problems ive had so far is screws working their way lose. Not so much a problem as I’ve now built up a supply of spare screws, however something I can’t seem to get spares of are the tiny little washers (I think they’re called top hat washers but please correct me if I’m wrong). they are tiny hat shaped washer that sit in places like to steering Ackerman and hubs. It’s not much use without them. does anyone know where I can get spares of these things? thanks
