Does any one have one and can tell me the width from outside of tire to the other outside of tire cos iv been obsessing about this little truck and im wondering if it will fit up the little slide on my boys little plastic climing wotsit ? This will be a deciding factor lol . I did read online "width 480 mm " On the normal versions but was unsure weather or not this included the wheels . Im a noob you see

Yeah i didnt have much choice realy lol . Not sure if i t was the right thing to do or not but i compressed them about a cm to get a good amount of rebound . After watching a video deafty posted back in 2015 lol

Yeah i will do . Kind of looking forward to it . Iv actualy got my shocks sitting now full up with the cap off waiting for the air bubbles to dissapate ala you tube tutorial . But one thing i have noticed is that my top caps dont have a diaphragm/bladder in the top or any where, just an orange o ring seated around the insde edge of the topcap with a circular space in the centre. So im a bit stumped now on how to fill without any air locks

I havent actualy ordered the rebuild kit yet . Was just gonna dump all the oil out of all 4 and replace with whatever seemed to me to be the best suggestion Il wait till i break something else (wont be long) Then order to save on postage . Nope just says use 100% silicone oil

Yeah it is downloadable i found an exploded diagram of the shocks but couldnt see any mention of what grade or make of oil they use . Il look again but dont think there is

Ok thanks . Havent got a clue what grade of oil is in there already iv had a good google but cant seem to find any thing other thane some one putting w55 all round on an upgraded dominus im guessing they were upgraded shocks to ?

Ok im waiting on parts to arrive to get my hellion select four 10tr (same roller as vkar bison ). Bits will probably be here tomorrow but this evening iv noticed oil at the bottom of one of my shocks . I took it off lifted the rubber gator that covers the shaft of the shock and yeah its definately coming from there . What do i do now ? Obviously im going to need shock oil wich i can probably get up the road at active scale models. But do i need to order the shock seal kit for my car or is it a generic o ring type thing for shocks. Like one kit fits many ? Oh and is it a bad idea to run it before i sort this out

Oh yeah my issues are definatly down to me . User malfunction i think its called . Was just getting a bit cocky on the 2s then it reminded me im a noob with the 3s. If i can il try and get some one to film me next time i smash it up

Iv come to the conclusion that i cant handle 3s . Bent my bulkhead this time (hlns1002) Was having fu9n with the two 2s then i put im my 3s and got a bit brave over the grass mound i was bashing and sent it cartwheeling through the air ,did pretty much the exact same thing friday to but closer to the ground and got away with just a bent rear trackrod . I get a bit of confidence on the 2s'es then put the 3s in and get a bit heavy handed on the throttle . At least i get to have a good tinker and clean up while im waiting for the parts i spose . Oh and ring up wheelspin and ask them if i can add a few more parts to saturday evenings order to avoid the extra postage . Thought of putting in a 4s scares me a bit

Thing i dont get is the front and rear sway bars i see them for sale with the spares for the four 10tr but i cant actualy physically see them on my one at all . Baring in mind iv not stripped mine right down yet just done a few minor repairs to the general hinge / hinge (how do uou spell hindge?) Pin area . Bit it looks to do the same as an anti rollbar on a real car .. But i cant find them on my rc where youd expect to find them if it were an actual automobile

Iv found that its good to have a stock pile of hindge pins ,hindge pin bushes in the parts bin

Quick update :I might be getting it right as far as charging and looking out for my lipos (wich seem to be lasting alot longer now btw after their firs charge). But as far as driving it goes not geting it right at all . First couple of times i took it out fine no proplems in a huge open feild but then i thought il just have a slow little crawl around over some apples in the(relatively small) back garden . All good untill i remembered a big sheet of perspex was behind the shed , So i built a ramp . My garden is barely big enough for the car to u turn at a slow pace had a few goes round over the ramp in a figure 8 . Then out of nowhere a concrete washing line post got in the way of the nearside front wheel and split the little bush thingy that holds the hindge pin for the lower arm in . Ordered parts plus spares . Then same again next time i took it out .pictured are the parts that keep failing me . Iv ordered a small cashe of them to keep me going but i dont think these are going to last me that long till i either learn some restraint or how to drive On the plus side on my purchases alone they might start making alot more of these or "hop ups" (if im using the term corectly) or upgrades might start to apear . Think im going to try and sorce some 3mm strenghened steel rod to replace hinge pins as iv snapped two of them ,gone through a pack of four of the little bushes that hold them and gouged the corners out of two of the ally plates that press them all together that includes turning them over to the clean side lol

Lol oh yeah . That is what i meant .trying to get it right but its still early days yet still got time to monumentaly hash things right up

Im actualy going to oficialy time each battery next time (hopefully tomorrow) As meybe i was having to much fun and the time just flew ?

I did charge them on a balance charge , I thought that was what i was supposed to do ? Each cell was 4.2v when they came off, After reading that evssv had the cut off on his esc at 2.6 a good few posts age in this thread i had a quick look for a way to set it in my quick setup booklet but didnt find anything

Detecting low voltage ? I assumed that the esc had a reasonable cut off . Now you come to mention it though , I did notice when i put them back on charge that the individual cells were around 3.2v Does that sound a little to low As i was more expecting to see around 3.5 going from experience with imr/inr batterys. I noticed the fan is constantly running on the esc as soon as i power up the car, plus it has front and rear lights wich iv unplugged for now to see if theres a difrence

The motor is Radient reactor 4t 4pole sensorless motor (if that means aything to any one) 2850kv The esc (doohicky with fan ontop ?)is reaktor 120t And the radio gear is ikonnik 4ch 2.4ghz reciver And the servo is all enclosed so i cant cheat and read the details off of it I 100% charged the cells on the right option This is all new to me so im double checking every thing im doing, and as far as i can tell following the book to the letter As i know lipos can be naughty if you take the ..... out of them

Yeah thats all three batterys It wasnt flat out all of the time i had to slow down sometimes . But it was a pretty huge field so i didnt have to back off verry often . I charged the batterys the night before on 5a, as i read on here 5a for 5000 mah is the way to go . Or did i missunderstand something ? It was their first ever charge ?

Took my new toy out for a play today , Reckon i got about half hour max out of the 3 batterys i bought 2x 2s and 1 3s 5000 mah 40c zippy flightmax's Bit dissapointed that it was over so quick but i did have fun . Meybe it just seemed like less time cos i was having fun No regrets
