  1. Just finished the paint on mine. Wanted it to look a bit rusty lol. The hole is in just the right place for the on/off switch too Not too bad for aluminium lmao
  2. Finally got mine looking almost like I wanted to. The hole in the side is next to the on/off switch so saves taking the body off Now I just need to give it a good run lol
  3. Only got the chassis the other week so must of been just in time! Gonna paint mine sort of. Got an idea in mind it's just trying to get it to work that might be a pain in the arse. Looks good with the aluminium on the inside and probably less hassle too lol
  4. Also been drinking lots of tea and playing with aluminium today. Just need to finish off fitting the sides properly then it's time to play with spray
  5. Took mine out for a bash with the Beatle shell on and it turns out it's a bit too much of a tight fit and it split so it's going to get fibreglassed and only used for wet and messy stuff and back to original for the rough stuff. Other than that it held up well this time
  6. It's definitely a good truck to mess about with
  7. Took a fair bit of trimming and I had to put 2 little holes in the back but yeah it's on there well now
  8. Well I bit the bullet and got myself an outlaw (brushless) and on my first outing like many others I broke the chassis but it's now replaced with the aluminium one and the metal drive shaft is in but treated myself to a new body to make it look a bit different
  9. Might of looked at the non wp one. I blame Google and fat old fingers don't know what batteries yet but most likely will go lipo 2s as they just seem better than nihm.
  10. Thanks Just looked at both of the esc and will probably go with the wpsc8 cos the other one says it's not waterproof. Obviously I won't be running it under water but something with 6 wheels has got to get dirty. Now to try to get all this past the Mrs haha
  11. OK so I'm really interested in the konghead when it comes out but never had a proper rc and I'm old now and know nothing so need help please. I want to waterproof it but haven't got a clue what I can put in it. I'm confident enough when it comes to building it just need some recommendations. Also will probably go brushless but don't want it crazy fast. Hopefully someone here can help. Thanks in advance ?
  12. Hello Long story short...got disabled and thinking about getting the tamiya kong konghead when it comes out to keep me occupied (that's the excuse to the Mrs anyway) but I'm wanting to make it waterproof and maybe go brushless but I don't have a clue what I would need. Any help for an old fart would be muchly appreciated ??
