  1. I have seen one of those Hyper ST truggys, they look quite interesting. Can you buy rollers of that? I don't tend to buy new, so used is what I'm after yes.
  2. Ah yes, that's a good point. £200-300, I am pretty cheap though so the lower end would be ideal
  3. I am looking for a truggy. I have been looking the Arrma Kraton for while, but now that looks like a bad idea (future not looking good for Arrma). Ideally something second-hand with similar characteristics to the Kraton. I am looking for electric and would really like good parts availability in the UK. There is a HPI Trophy Truggy Flux for sale locally to me. There is a thread on here and the opinions are mixed on that one. What other truggys would you guys recommend?
  4. I came along a few weeks ago with my orange GTB. Great fun. I can't make tonight but will be along next week. Looking forward to seeing the pictures
  5. As per the subject I am after a Spektrum DX4S or a Sanwa MT-4S. I don't mind if it comes with receivers or not. Give me your best price and I'll let you know if I'm interested.
  6. Hang on, I think I've been a numpty. I put the ESC the wrong way. I had the sensor port facing the motor and not the servo. Swapped it round now, far better. Doh, if only I could read lol! Sits flush now, much neater.
  7. I tried to get the ESC in closer but the servo mount stops it. I think that is the best I'm going to get. The screw heads get in the way. Just got to tidy the antenna cable and I'm sorted for nextdoor week. It's running the carisma 5700kv. Seems pretty powerful although have never run the car so will see. I think I will get killed if I spend any more lol. Will stick with what I have for the minute. Another picture would be good. I can only think that I would need different screws to get the ESC more flush. I don't think it is too bad though. Thanks for your help
  8. I've had a go. I think this is ok. Everything fits although it is quite tight. The ESC overhangs the chassis slightly. What do you think?
  9. I think I get the idea. Pictures would be great though. The servo mounts are kind of in a strange position. Not sure what the last owner was upto. None of the holes match the template on the thumbs designs site.
  10. Yeah that's the exact one I have. A picture would be great. I've scratched my head thinking about how to get it to fit.
  11. Sounds good. I have figured out the issue with the servo mounts. It seems that the ESC is a bit too big to allow the thumbs mounts to go in their normal place. They have been shoe horned in with the wrong screws and then split. There's a Hobbywing 10BL60 in the car at the moment. I guess I will need a smaller ESC. Do any of you use the thumbs designs mounts and what ESCs do you use? Once I get this sorted i'll be down.
  12. I've just bought a used GTB, never raced before. Only been bashing for the last year so thought I would give racing a go. The servo mount disintegrated on me though, it's one of the thumbs designs ones. When the new one turns up I will pop down. Do Eurotec have a good day for practice?
