  1. If it's a 4x4 crawler you're interested in this is a good indoor / outdoor RTR. The link to buy it is in the description under the video on YouTube. £10 more than your budget, but could be worth considering. For another £3.85 it comes with 3 batteries, instead of just one.
  2. @ChrisT Thanks mate. I was in there three days ago buy Tamiya clear red and clear orange paint. I didn't think to ask about foam. I am looking at their site now to see if they sell clear round self adhesive labels to put on the top of the body over the post holes to protect against scratches from body clips. One of my RC's came with them on and I think it's a great idea. They are hardly noticeable too.
  3. @ChrisT and @Oh How Original Thank you very much. That's exactly the kind of alternative I am looking for. I have a Hobbycraft 5 miles from me which will get a visit tomorrow morning
  4. Could anyone tell me where to get cheap foam Body Post Washers please. I've looked on ebay and they are lots of money for a handful. Don't like being blatantly ripped off ! Thanks
  5. This is what I am going to buy for mine https://www.ironmongerydirect.co.uk/browse/shelving-and-storage/twin-slot-shelving-systems
  6. Sorry, I should read posts more carefully That's a really nice colour. What needs doing to finish It?
  7. Is it the blue one Dan? PM me a price. You never know ?
  8. @sunny Thanks for the offer mate. I appreciate it, but I'm really after the stock Cherokee body.
  9. Has anyone got an Axial SCX10 ii Jeep Cherokee Body, they want to sell. I am looking for a painted one. The RTR body would be ideal if anyone has swapped it over for something else. I want to buy the kit version of the chassis but unfortunately I am absolutely pants at cutting and painting bodies Thanks
  10. Congratulations Gaz. What a lucky boy. If you want to sell the Toyota ........ EDIT.....Sorry mate. Just read the sentence about your daughter ?
  11. The fact that the parcel hasn't been delivered is enough for Paypal to refund you your payment if the seller can not provide proof of delivery, regardless of what may have happened to the parcel. I bought an RC recently and didn't receive it. I contacted the seller regularly and got nowhere with him. I then actually rang Paypal who opened a case immediately, and 3 weeks later I was refunded my payment in full. If you didn't receive the delivery then the seller can't provide a signature. Open and shut case my friend. Phone Paypal. Ebay are useless.
  12. That's good news mate. I got mine and it was so much better than the photos depicted on Ebay. It is practically mint. I painted the driver set and put it on the shelf because I don't want to spoil it lol.
  13. Yes, two sets at that price seems the way to go. It's a shame U.K stores add so much for overheads. I would like to support them with my custom but at half the price RCMart will get my money. Especially as I don't mind the wait for delivery. Thanks again mate ?
  14. @Gaz! Thanks Gaz. I am not sure to be honest. I have been told about these http://www.rcmart.com/tamiya-assembly-universal-shaft-tt01-ta04-53792-p-11703.html?cPath=595_744_708 They are much cheaper than here in the UK and I know that they would be the correct fit, so I am veering towards that option. I really appreciate your time and help with this mate. It's a shame we don't know if they would work. ????
  15. @Gaz! Good morning mate. I've measured the travel, to the best of my capabilities, and the gearbox end moves roughly 3 - 4mm. The wheel end only moves 1 -1.5mm. It was difficult to measure but I marked the 2 points of travel and measured the gap. Maybe yours are just a wee bit too long?
  16. @Gaz! Sorry mate. Just got home. I will have a measure up tomorrow and let you know
  17. @Gaz! Hello mate. The dogbone measures 44 - 45 mm. Thanks for this ? ? ?
  18. One of my rear dog bones keeps popping out on my DF-03Ra because the foams in the drive cups are wearing out. For a temporary fix I have been cutting some foam from an earplug which works, but I would like to replace the dog bones all round with CVD's. I can only find ones listed for the DF-03Ra in U.S.A.and after probable import duties to the U.K these become a bit expensive. Do any CVD's from other models fit which I could buy in the U.K ? Thanks ?
  19. A warning to anyone interested in this Tamiya Booming on Ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-Boomerang-with-Box-shelf-queen-Vintage-Re-Release/163273819483

I bought and paid £80 for this in July via another forum and never received it, or got any replies to any of my messages or emails to the seller. I know that this is the actual Boomerang that I bought because he is selling a Hotshot as well which was also on the same sales thread with the same photos of both RC's. Unfortunately I paid by pp gift. Lesson learnt. The seller has been banned from the site because of this. He was on there under the name of "Bails" I have since found out he has had several ebay ID's and lots of negative feedback, eg "item not received" and "doesn't answer emails", and then closed his account only to reappear months later under a different but similar ID.

I apologise if this post breaks any rules and please remove it if it does.

  23. My Baja Champ with a Rough Rider driver. Don't understand why Tamiya didn't include a driver with this or the Baja King.
