  1. Apex models actual shop is ok, I got my firestorm there and a few spares (bodyclips and the like) The staff are ok, i guess, The youngish guy is amazing, really helps you out, can normally solve any issues, There is one miserable guy that puts me off any questions as he just doesnt have any personality (perhaps i caught him on a bad day everytime i have been in there) I just fingured if you work in a model shop its because you have a passion and knowledge for it, Its not really a job you just flick though the ads and apply for, he shows no passion, Only a minor grumble
  2. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/tamiya-tgs-chassis-models/rc-car-products/23876 Thats the set of bearing you would need, that would do 1 model, unless they are in dire need of a atention i wouldnt have thought new ones were really needed as its not like your upgrading from plastic ones, Cheers
  3. The only problem with cheap RC's is that there can be more problems that meet the eye, Good luck though!
  4. First things first Put the steering servo plug into the throttle slot on the RX just to check its not the RX thats the problem Batteries are fresh i take it? if you set the Failsafe, and you left the car switched on it could have burnt the servo out, are they servox servos?
  5. I think usually theres a small button on the RX, (correct if im wrong) Hold the Brake on TX 3/4 way on, Press and hold the small button down(it should start flashing) Release the brake when the Red light is on constant Hope this helps
  6. After the video you posted up earlier of the weak servos, I would defiantly say its the batteries that caused this, The new Hypers are fitted with Savox Sc metal geared ones, So hopefully wouldnt have done too much damage
  7. Got the backend of the firestorm loose, ran 7-8 tanks before my a small flip snapped the throttle linkage off the carb, Was a good thing too as one of the rear bearings has completly inploded,
  8. Definatly looks to be the batteries, Cheap batteries used to run out in my hyper in less than 20 mins until i got a stick pack, One of the best purchases you can make in regards to a nitro car is a stick or hump packs, They pay for themselfs quick enough and it make the steering and throttle just that little more responsvie
  9. Weather is looking ideal for bashing tommorow! plenty of sideways action

  10. I will keep this in mind for when mine packs in, Hopefully not too soon
  11. Brilliant, simple enought then Hope to see you guys soon =]
  12. Hello everyone, Im based in Aldershot, Just wondering what the crack is when attending a bash with you guys? cheers =]
