  1. Yeah they for ok I had to change a couple of screws as the thread inside the metal parts weren't exactly the same but that's no biggie(as lon as you have the screws) but yeah apart from that they are good, also the steering linkage has different ball joint bits so you'll need longer screws for them as well..
  2. Done one side haven't had much time, trying to upload a pic but it's being a pain only allowed so many KB so not sure how to do it, might try on my pc later.
  3. Sweet upgrades turned up today ordered (16th) so not bad delivery time! and got new chassis.... Let the rebuild commence!
  4. okey dokes no probs, what I might do is just order an A3 size bit of Carbon and cut it down to size, I should think the chassis no bigger than A3 surely....
  5. Don't spose you know the Dimensions do ya? I'm at work and want to get some CF ordered..
  6. I was gonna look at getting an original, then putting a carbon fibre Slab on the bottom... Just not sure how I'm gonna fix it on.. And hopefully won't be too heavy although CF is light anyway.
  7. Ha I've just busted my chassis at the front from a nose dive.... I've looked on eBay again for the chassis but it's flat! Whereas mine is tubbed... anything I can do to strengthen another original or anything I can add to the alloy one? Just worried about the battery security on a flat base... Any ideas bud?
  8. Cool that's not too bad a time to wait! Yeah defo will post up! ??
  9. Oh nice 1 I see, cheers just gotta wait a month now lol hopefully be worth the wait!
  10. ello again buh, I've ordered some bits and it all comes to under £15, when and how do I pay the vat? As I've only paid what the listing said... Do I need to go somewhere else or will it be requested? And how will I have to pay the carrier? On delivery?
  11. Wikid that looks pretty cool! To be fair there's nothing wrong with the stock suspension,I'll just stick with them then if they scupper the handling/bashablitily I think I just want to colour it up a bit, might have a look at the steering linkage and the servo though, was gonna try out multicolour as you can get blue, purple and yellow bits!
  12. ok cool I did see before someone said the sus arms weren't that great, I'll prob get the bits you've mentioned. What are the actual suspension like? Prefer the coloured rather than black....
  13. How much would you upgrade? I don't want to add too much weight so would it be worth doing all the suspension arms and bits? Want it to look good though, I was gonna do the steering hubs and joints and suspension.
  14. Hi again late reply I know but are you saying you order the parts separately? Then you won't hit the big tax?
  15. Well, I got it about 6 years ago and I think it was bout £40.....
  16. my charger only goes up to 4a
  17. The new one is 5000 and my older one is 3000
  18. Yeah I have seen a few bits n stuff on eBay for it, some good looking metal upgrades.
  19. Hi Guys, sorry didn't realise there was a "Intro" thread and just joined and started asking Q's so...... I'm Lee & I'm in my 30's and have recently got back into RC's, think it was due to seeing a Tamiya Sonic Fighter online somewhere and that was the buggy I had (when I was a lot younger) - what a classic!... It kind of rekindled my love for the hobby, I'm so out of touch with what's what these days so I will be calling on all you experts to guide me and my choices... I currently have a Maverick Strada XT Evo S running on Lipo battery and I must say I am enjoying i and its bloomin quick, but I really do like the look of the Drift RC's - as I do love my Jap cars so was thinking about one of those too... I'm a bit greedy anyway I'm gonna stop banging on and have a look around the forum! Hope you all have a good day! Lee
