:-))), how do I get on, well that I would also like to know. In the beginning it was maverick ion xb, that was the limit that time, then full alu upgrade on it, then it was desert fox, then bunch of spare parts, then partial ALU upgrade on it :-) now it is new motor for desert fox. Well if the original tyres have to be replaced, I will think about, because after last time spares shipments, I think I will use other sources than HK if I can. Had to wait more than 5 weeks for the spares to arrive (not the wheels, those are from eBay), (and I was actually lucky to get them not to be on backorder) just to be taken by customs :-))). Hi, yes, spare parts are a pain, a lot of things on backorder. Luckily Fox shares a lot of parts with quantum vandal ( it is stupid hking is not mentioning it anywhere officially), so you have to look for spare parts in fox and vandal section. Even though I broke it :-) ( see why one post up), stars must have been in a good constellation at that day, as hking had quite a lot of spares available at that day :-)))). So I grabbed like 2 sets of susp holders for front and back in plastic, one from aluminium ( just in case the plastic ones keep breaking :-))) ) and some more suspension/ hub carrier, knuckle arms etc... just in case :-). After that a day or so later, parts have been on backorder again. So yes spares may be an issue. The other thing is they have spare parts ( if they have them) only in int. warehouse, so shipping takes ages, I ordered spares on 23rd, still not there (shipping to Slovakia) , and of course tracking no. gives back no result. :-(.

Well consider first that after having Maverick Ion XB this is the 2nd RC car I have in a very short time, so still learning how to drive etc.... :-). I think Fox is a partial copy of FTX Vantage. But it is basically based to a big extend on Quantum Vandal (also on hobby king web page) and they share some parts (luckily like suspension holders). So far I took it only once outside, it performed quite OK, for these couple of minutes :-) unfortunately, I did not really check the terrain I used it on before :-), So while driving it up the grass hill with an asphalt road on top of it at full speed I ran with it into a big hole on the asphalt road, so one suspension holder in the front cracked ( I think this is really going to be the weak link). I broke No.1 on the picture: To be honest I was surprised, that was the only part broken (costs are like 0.85 EUR for plastic replacement). But then there is shipping ( more in next post :-) ).

Future upgrades (already on the way): 1. Motor heatsink: 2. New lights 3. Just out of fun ordered bigger wheels (not that the original one are not big enough). Aluminium arms and suspension holders also on the way.

Hi any Desert Fox owners here? any mods, upgrades? I just started with the lights and painting drivers (as crushed and waiting for the parts [emoji12] ) With lights Back Drivers painted :-) Crashed :-( And comparison to Maverick Ion XB 1:18 :-)
