  1. I'm expecting my Bull Dog shell at some point this week... Will be interesting to compare notes
  2. Was thinking of banging the second servo in the 4th channel and using mixing to get them working perfectly
  3. Yes matey, it's here to stay.... I would only regret getting shot of it..
  4. Can do this very cheaply and was wondering what would be the better solution in terms of performance and reliability?
  5. I hope you're not talking about 2 stroke petrol??
  6. That on a 22t pinion?
  7. That on a 22t pinion?
  8. You should at least do some top end RPM testing with the booster pipe first so you can keep a record... I'm certainly interested in what top end RPM it gives.
  9. Once these new mini 2 stroke petrol engines like the one seen in the Savage Octane improve over the next few years you'll find nitro will eventually die out.
  10. Order the Bartolone matey.... Nothing worse then having something on your RC you're not happy with.
  11. http://www.dgiracing.com/22t-pinion-gear-for-dbxl-losi/ https://www.hobbymaniac.com/Losi-21T-22T-23T-Pinion-Gear-1-5-4wd-DBXL-p-30262.html
  12. It's crazy how the engine is mounted upright and not low down and at an angle like they normally are in the other on road cars.
  13. Final price drop to £80, after that it becomes another item in my spare parts box.
  14. You don't need to change the spur with the pinion though? Changing just the pinion should be more then enough I would of thought?
  15. £1000 is way to much, you can get a Blackout MT and address all it's little niggles for less then that.
  16. Surely you can just bang a pinion from a DBXL on it and use the spacers?
  17. Yep, because the exhaust mount is so sturdy there's no 'give' in it so when you jump it the loads gets placed on the exhaust and doesn't get absorbed very well by the mounting system.
  18. Careful how much you jump it though.... the mounting puts a lot of stress of the pipe when the truck is jumped and can cause nasty dents and kinks in the pipe.
  19. Adam at Baja cars sells then for £720 brand new if collected.... I was speaking to him on Facebook as he's pretty much the only way to get one in the UK without importing yourself and he was telling me that mark up differences make the 1200 not worth it as in GBP the 1100+alloy parts work out cheaper.
  20. Indeed.... But... It actually works out cheaper buying the XCR1100 and buying the alloy parts separate.
  21. What about the RCMK XCR-1000 vs Losi 5ive?
  22. Yes it does matey and no movement on price.
