Hello guys , I'm new to RC cars. I've just purchased one of these I've got a quick question. Is it RTR lipo batteries straight from the box? The manual says about setting the the ESC to auto lipo but gives no further details. Thanks in advance 👍

I have been looking at getting one, you know what its like. Initially I was goon buy a XMAXX, but the FG came up for 125 so just went for it. I'll kept an eye on the southampton forum, and might try and come along some time, get some tips. Cheers.

Well at least i'm not the only one. Thanks for the input guys. I managed to get it started again, but it cut out after 20 sec or so, I'm hoping its the spark plug will try that tomorrow.

Having difficulty up loading more photos, saying size limit reached. Is there a trick to this? I've already resized them to lower than 1mb

Hello new member here. I purchased this car yesterday, I'd been planning on getting one for a while, when this came up and I just couldn't refuse. I was told its an FG, but i'm not sure if any one knows I'd be grateful? I'll be picking your brain over the coming months as I try to improve and get this thing running smooth. It started up yesterday, but I haven't managed to get it running today. Ive read the new petrol owners guide on here (great help thanks) and am gonna change the spark plug tomorrow, clean the filter, tighten the exhaust & change the fuel. Think it was sat for a while, so hopefully that will get it running again.

Cheers man, I see you're Southampton based as well. Don't know you suppose what would be the most local RC shop to us? Or do you just buy online. I'm gonna need to make some purchases soon.

Hello, been reading site for a couple of days now, its a brilliant resource guys, great work. Anyways I've always loved RC cars and have owned a few in the past. Recently (today) I acquired a 1/5th scale FG petrol touring car, all complete and running. In at the deep end I know but it was a bargain. I'll post some pics tomorrow, and hopefully get some advice from you guys. Anyone on here based in the south coast area? Cheers Allan!
