  1. Parts ordered the larger rear bearing had also exploded on impact which also holds in the stub axle. Should be here by lunchtime tomorrow also ordered cheaper back ups from AMain via snail mail. First breakage apart from bumper mounts which is standard procedure I guess. I now have time to paint the garden fence.
  2. So this morning I thought I would catch some early morning rays charged 4 packs and off I went to this little spot in a local park with about 8 hills which makes for great jumps. Lots of two wheel stuff and 360 skids on the wet grass thinking this is great. Start some jumps couple of unusual landings and then after a few more I hit the rear again and click clack clap click I hold Ocdcbr entirely responsible part numbers please left rear hub!
  3. Did Logic RC sort your wheels?
  4. Congrats on your Xmaxx purchase
  5. I keep seeing wheelie bars and the more I see them the more I think one bad rear end landing and its crushed to bits. good call on the caster wheel much cheaper than the tbone racing option !
  6. More Xmaxx build quality issues.... Back flips begin at 6.00 minutes

Another broken Xmaxx with build quality issues to discuss..... Backflips commence at 6.00minutes
  8. I have tried self righting once on grass it didn't work lesson learned don't use it.
  9. On a more positive note RCBearings will have a full Xmaxx kit available in about a week
  10. agreed apex on eBay are useless only used em once mind
  11. I will leave this slow boring Xmaxx video here for your perusal
  12. Yeah good post at £650 it was a great buy.
  13. Well that all got a little bit spicy maybe it's time of the month. I think most people would love one of these trucks but it's a lot of cash and some people are still sceptical. Buy one drive it enjoy it then replace parts as you break em just like any other RC car. Just remember large scale is expensive.
  14. So today I decided to inspect my diffs and add some axle boots from a baja. Diffs are all in great shape and topped up with 50K I added some grease to the diff ring and then fitted the axle boots to keep things tidy. Heres a few pics.
  15. So as a Slash expert what kind of Slash do you enjoy the most? Seriously lookng for advice on what model to purchase and a top 10 essential upgrades.
  16. Good read that thread ! Have you been out to play yet? I quite fancy a Slash for bashing at the skate park
  17. Do they include a list of the bolts and screws sizes etc that you can post on here
  18. No worries fella! Bought front and rear skid plates for a tenner. They mount the bumpers on the skid plates and mine are shot screws ripped out. I have used a bolt on the rear bumper and when that breaks I will replace the skid plate but just wanted em on hand. :-) Gears ? Just spur and pinion 17 and 50 spur and a spare 54 for gearing. 18 was out of stock one step at a time. No damage to diffs yet! Now that you mentioned it I feel the urge to have a quick peek and undo those 5 screws. I ordered spare diff rings and front and rear pinioned from AMain hobbies as they were silly cheap and I didn't mind the wait.
  19. Apologies Noj I am no Steven Speilberg but I am enjoying mine a lot. I have some more Lipos arriving tomorrow some gears and new skid plates.
  20. No no a bit far for me. How did you manage to hit the kid ?
  21. Sounds like you can arrange a threesome
  22. Really happy I Gorrilla taped my shell. I also added some 4mm countersunk aluminium washers for the body bracket no issues thus far with screws coming through the body. I have also reinforced all the edges of the bodyshell on the front and rear again to extend its life until Proline come out with some shells.
