  1. Nice video thanks for taking the time.
  2. Nothing else gets a look in at the moment. I have a back up of most breakables now via my wife's business trip to the states although she was not impressed with the bill.
  3. What's the point of other cars when you have a X-maxx ?
  4. Nice stand I made something similar from plastic is that copper?
  5. I like this guy and his 8s system. "I love this truck tonnes and tonnes of power but it breaks a lot..."
  6. There should be some great wheels for this truck on the way from Proline. I like the stock tyres great on grass and gravel.
  7. Found a new spot today but had no cars with me just my son and his bike.
  8. Yeah it's the ping thats the problem as they ping across the room !!!!!! It's no biggie.
  9. I think they are just flat mine are fine no issues. The clips are smaller and are inside the hex if that makes sense. They are a pain to get off though!
  10. Checked out my shocks just now all full and oil clean. Added some more shock sox poor colour choice they will last about 2 runs !! The Masters and Anthony Joshua fight beckons tonight !
  11. I have a white car always needs cleaning. White wheels would drive me mad.
  12. Good vids thanks ! Weird how Ocdcbr broke another hub? I broke one last week same kind of driving error! It's a real cheap fix though so maybe it's designed that way to take the impact rather than move the force further down the line. I did 3 sets of batteries through mine today at the skate park (gentle) and then the park. There is a 100m snakey gravel path with 5 tight S bends which shows of its handling ability no end as it drifts through the corners. The steering and TSM is fantastic. Had no issues or temp problems apart from interested yobbos "give us a go of ya truck mate" " how much was ya truck mate can I have a go....." I struggle to inform said parties its a £1000 toy truck and you can't play with it! Cos I love every minute of blasting it around and about. Great fun today. I hosed it down and then GT85 everywhere 15 minute clean up.Dusty motors cover works a treat. I will strip it all down next week and clean and re grease everything.
  13. Yeah maybe but I still think it would rip in that location I have seen a few people make modifications in the same area. The rear of the shell edge impacts on the bumper mount. I need to plan for the next shell but it's got a lot of life left in it.
  14. My shell continues to crack on the right hand side of the rear bumper mount. I Gorrilla tape it and it rips the Gorrilla tape virtually every other run. Just applied another dose of Gorrilla tape to stop it ripping the shell further tomorrow and added some tape to the bumper mount . it must be the design of the bumper mount or the shell being too close. Rest of my shell is fine although I did reinforce it with gorilla tape on day 1 and added some aluminium washers to the body mount points. The shells are quite expensive although I kind of fancy a bright orange X-maxx. The bumper mounts screw into the skid plates so it's all connected. I hope RPM are working on some new bumpers and mounts ! 6 batteries on charge for tomorrow morning session.
  15. Wow it's heavy !!!! Makes the Xmaxx look like an F1 car
  16. Useful posts and all positive feedback on stock set ups. I received my Xmaxx bearings from RC Bearings.co.uk today and some extras for hubs where they are more prone to dirt and grit great quality and 48 hour delivery.
  17. A set of bearings from RCBearings.co.uk
  18. it still provides no protection for the left rear hub
  19. I have a couple of spares just in case. We should make a list of useful parts to have on hand just in case. I should have a full set of bearings next week via RC Bearings. Might order some extras for the hubs.
  20. Yes agreed it's a cheap fix I wish I had a bit more run time today though !!
