just had confirmation of my order @£649 made on Sunday and that the price is going up £100 from today. Get involved if you want one at £649 sooner rather than later

Someone is cashing in somewhere? List price of $799 = £532 so £650 retail in the UK sounds about right same as the Erevo. £750 for the X-Maxx is just wrong. Hope my deal ordered yesterday gets supplied at the right money.

People got touchy when money was mentioned ! I agree I will also spend my money on what I want. Actually looking forward to the question from milf in park when her dearly beloved 7 year old shows an interest in angry 6S X-Maxx. Where is it from and how much was it? £1000 I respond staring at her blankly wanting to drill her into next week. So forget the cost and tell me what battery combinations are you gonna power this thing with ?

How many batteries will be required for this truck? 2 x 3S 5000 lipos will give 15 minutes run time. 4 batteries half an hour... 6 Traxxas batteries will be £350 = £1000 truck. How do you justify that when someone casually asks you where you bought your toy car and how much was it? What battery combinations a re people gonna run with this?

I was about to pull the trigger on an E-Revo brushless which has just dropped £30 in price to £629 and then this gets announced. It looks amazing and the size is awesome. What are people thinking on power 4S or 6S ? Lots of options from Traxxas batteries https://traxxas.com/products/models/electric/X-Maxx?t=batteries this thing is gonna be power hungry what are people's thoughts on power I am no expert many thanks

Thanks for the advice Tug I like the simplicity of the new Traxxas design I agree it's expensive. Looking at your details you are experienced with the Traxxas gear. What would you suggest probably gonna go with 4 batteries 7600 or 5000 and a quality charger. Like most things in life you usually get what you pay for. Wires electricity and fire scare me a little.

Thinking of buying the new Traxxas dual EZ plus charger and some 7600 long life 2S Lipo batteries. Any feedback on this charger it does 2 batteries at the same time and knows which Traxxas batteries you have plugged in. Sounds clever to me although quite pricey for the Traxxas stuff

Been lurking here for a while bonus at work means I have decided to take the plunge and get a Traxxas E Revo for me and my son to mess with. Brushless? Chargers Traxxas dual for quick dual,charging? Batteries 2 sets of 2 x 2 S Traxxas lipos I would rather buy things once than be upgrading two weeks down the line looking for some good advice from Revo owners and a nice deal from MS thanks in advance
