  1. How do I find out if it’s the carb that’s faulty then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yep in hyper 7, am seriously considering an electric conversion [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My Mach 28 has been giving me trouble for a long time now. It just won’t hold a tune and when it idles it is very erratic revving up and down randomly. I’m not new to the hobby so all the tuning on the engine is right I’ve spent days tuning it so it’s not that issue. I’ve replaced the head gaskets and it still doesn’t work. There’s some smoke coming from the head of the engine as well. The only thing I haven’t tried is a new glow plug but I doubt that will be the issue will it? Thanks all help is greatly appreciated! 4. Oxshott woods is alright, couple of jumps there, you know any decent places? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Anyone from these areas fancy meeting up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Any ideas what the safest gearing is off road for e Revo brushless without overheating? Would be good to have some top speed off road as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Okay cheers mate I’ll have a look [emoji108] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Had the car a few years now but don’t use it often at all. Hyper Mach* .28 engine and the idle is far from stable! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi guys the engine on my hyper 7 can’t hold a tune, and when trying to tune it it’s very sensitive, like 1/8 of a turn between gasping for fuel or bogging down. Is my engine on the way out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hey guys I’m having problems tuning my car. If I floor it from a standstill it’s sluggish then it picks up also if it idles for too long with no throttle then it cuts out. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Looks good I shall invest! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think you can still push it along when the brakes are applied the servo isn’t that powerful. Check to make sure the little plastic pieces that hold the linkages onto the servo horn aren’t tight as this will prevent free movement of the servo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Recently I purchased a glow igniter from eBay for £6 (how I thought it would be any good is beyond me [emoji23]). It’s one of the ones that uses a AA battery so I don’t have to wait for the one with integrated battery to charge. Surprise surprise, it doesn’t work at all! Stay away from these! 15. Guys epic noob moment! It was actually stripped but I didn’t realise until I tried a servo with a looser tolerance between the teeth and spline. Didn’t have another suitable horn around but managers to fashion one out of the savox spares box! Hopefully it’s all good now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks yeah I checked them it’s 100% not that it just keeps changing it’s orientation almost Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. As I said my friend I took it apart and all the teeth were there and in order! It’s such a strange issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yep, done that about 5 times but the same issue keeps happening ☹️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. What’s that bumper on the front? Could do with one of them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi guys there’s an odd issue with my servo in my hyper 7. It’s a £50 savox servo with titanium gears so it’s not crappy. I came down off of a small jump and tumbled a bit and the steering would only steer left but really far left but not right. Upon further inspection I could see that the servo was still moving the same amount of distance but just not in one direction, essentially it had kind of re calibrated it’s self. If I hold the wheels with not much force and turn try to steer with my radio it sounds like there is something inside the servo moving but the wheels aren’t. The spline, horn and servo gears aren’t stripped and still have all their teeth so what’s going on?! Any help would be much appreciated as I’m at a bit of a dead end on this one. Thanks! 21. It's me Llukeyboy but had to sign under different name because I'm posting via an app. Admittedly that servo was quite cheap, do savox come with a warranty? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Is the roto start biting and turning the engine over. Because if not then your one way bearing is gone. It happened to me I replaced the pull start on my hyper 7 with a roto start and it was the worst thing I ever did. The screws that hold the roto backplate on always come loose (even with thread lock) and the plastic kept splitting apart. In the end I abandoned it and went back to pull start..
